only based on my previous parcels and also from some of the European ones getting them...
but now thinking of it, maybe we don't see an import scan due to Brexit and duty/vat etc due at point of import in the UK rather than into the EU..

No import scan, we have already paid VAT on them… no need to go through customs unless we paid an entity outside the UK. Looks like they have just left Germany!

Maybe its because your in a different part of the uk where it doesn't make sense to drive the distance. Maybe theres an airport hub closer to you but no flights are going there tonight

Touch and go for today, I think.
I work for a major courier in the UK. It isn't unusual to have trailers leaving hubs for local service centres at 4am. We can still be emptying trailers and loading courier's vans at 11am. Either at busy times of the year, or when a lorry breaks down.
Keep the faith. It can still happen today. 🙂

Same here for delivery in London.
If Hermes can get a hoodie to me a few hours after arriving from China to Heathrow via Hatfield (I’m closer to Heathrow) then I’m pretty sure DHL can get my laptop to me too.
I live fairly near STN and mine has also gone to EMA. Hmmm. 🤨

I suspect they either didn’t have the space on the flight to Stansted, or the space there, based on the macs supposed to be arriving on Thursday morning rather than today. Of well, just means a weekend of doing something else!
