Just had shipment notification, but from DHL not DPD. Prefer DPD as they give a time, but hopefully DHL are ok too.
EDIT: Just gone onto the DHL site and they do give a 1 hour window
They can also text a "You're Next" message.
...not that it matters as I work from home lol

DHL delivered my iPad Pro 11 last week from o2 and gave an hour slot and were pretty much bang on the opening of said slot.
They are delivering my AW tomorrow.

DPD now say "We have your parcel, and it's on its way to your local depot in Stoke" - getting nearer!
I've got an amazon order due to arrive Sat 21st, and an order with apple in processing, due to arrive 24 Sep - 26 Sep.
Does anyone have experience as to whether amazon are likely to stick to that date, and also when would be the last date I can cancel the apple order?

My Apple app has updated with my watch is ready to collect, its SS 44mm with product red band!
thinking about seeing if I can swap it to one with the leather band.... quite like the look of that..

Interesting you got the product red band, too, and yours is ready. I ordered mine on the button with a red band and I don't get it until next week.
Went through Apple Retail online chat and got a dhl tracking number as well. Current status is ‘Shipment information received’ in Eindhoven, whether that means the Watches are actually there or still on the way, I’m not sure. Looks like delivery tomorrow is definitely out anyway.

Same for me too. Delivery is def out of the way for tomorrow, they are bulked shipped from China to Eindhoven and then will be shipped individually to us from there.
I was planning to sit this one out, but have succumbed! Just ordered SSSB with Black Leather Loop.

Yeah stainless steel with product red band. I actually ordered the aluminium one first! Then a few hours later changed my mind!!
maybe it’s different stock for reserve in store?
You can always cancel the order if you find one you like! I'm guessing the delivery date is a bit far away? My SBTI/Clementine sport loop (I have the rest of the bands I could want;() is showing as shipped, delivered by 23/25th but if what other threads say is true, you get a free band anyway, why would they make you buy another? Oh wait, it's apple.. $$$$$
Sadly I think my combo probably made it slower and/or unable to collect in store..I think the more low volume models are mostly made-to-order with only a few produced for ‘stock’.
Just an aluminium 40mm with white sports band for me. Would have preferred the 44mm but I have small wrists anyway and would prefer to use the existing bands I own from my Series 0!
I adore the white ceramic but I can‘t really see the benefit in paying any more than needed - not when the jump in cost is so much.

Mine says 20th for delivery on the Apple Order Status system, but DHL says 23rd. Annoyingly, I've having it delivered to my parents' house in Northern Ireland where I'll be for the weekend, but if it arrives on Monday I'll not be there to get it. I just assumed it'd arrive on the day of release, which was possibly a bit naive.
