I’m probably doing the same. The value of my Series 5 isn’t much now as it’s three generations old. I figured I’d just keep it for those occasions when I need something smarter. I’ll wear the Ultra as an everyday watch.

I’m probably doing the same. The value of my Series 5 isn’t much now as it’s three generations old. I figured I’d just keep it for those occasions when I need something smarter. I’ll wear the Ultra as an everyday watch.
I originally preordered the one with the black/grey trail loop as that’s the band I wanted but it had delivery for end of October. I cancelled it and preordered the one with the orange alpine loop. I was going to preorder the black/grey trail loop but haven’t yet. I think I’m going to do that.
I think it’s actually the black/grey trail loop. I want that one and I’m hoping the same. I will have to keep an eye on in store stock at release.
I have wrists like a 12 year old. I’m gonna rock that thing everywhere.
I have the Ultra with the midnight ocean band arriving on the 23rd. I dont think it will look too chunky on my wrist as I’ve had big watches in the past before the Apple Watch but you can never tell what it’s really going to look like until you try it
Myself and wife both have series 4’s SS Wi-Fi and Cellular, and every year no new design so kept our watches (wife’s decision)

I wonder how tight that strap will have to be and how comfortable it will be a a result to ensure the sensors work well? Are the sensors the same size and type as on the last AW?
I have the 2nd generation SE on order with Apple. I am looking forward to my first ever Apple Watch. It says preparing to ship on the Apple website.

Does anyone know the answer. At the event when apple announced data roaming support. I was surprised that EE wasn’t on the list of supporting networks. Is this definitely the case?

After some mulling over since the announcement Wednesday I’ve decided to go for the Apple Watch Ultra!

I currently have a series 4, the ultra is way too big for me and I dont really need that. Looked at the series 8 but then the difference between that and the series 7 are minimal. Only issue on the 7 is they don’t do silver and I’m not sure on that starlight. I also thought about SS instead of aluminium but the price for a SS series 8 is ridiculous especially when you factor in it’s not far off the ultras price point. So not sure what to do really.
Any chance the Ultra will be in store to try on, on the 16th or will it not be there till the 23rd ? I have a series 8 SS for launch day but the Ultra isn’t coming till 20th - 27th October, currently have a Series 4 SS. Want the Ultra for the longer battery life but not if it looks stupidly to big on my wrist.
23rd. There will presumably be some reviews out before then but that will be it I imagine.
