Although I acknowledge this will get trolled by non-regular contributors to this thread (but I don't care), I have emailed Tim Cook to alert him to the issue. I would suggest as many of you do the same and happy for you to top and tail what I sent...
"This short note is to invite you to look at the following thread on MacRumors, which I believe demonstrates growing enthusiasm for Mac computers, on this occasion the new 27 iMac. A great endorsement for your colleagues' efforts in designing what seems to be another fantastic machine. I am looking forward to receiving mine in due course as I placed an order on 12/4.
The enthusiasm found in abundance in this forum can be expected from old 'Mac heads' like myself but a quick browse of this thread will tell you a lot of new customers are choosing Mac for the first time.
Secondly this email is to also alert you to a growing unrest in the community due to the unpredictable nature of the logistics chain. There appears to be no rhyme nor reason why 27 iMacs are being delivered when they are.

In fact a lot of users have inputted their data in the following spreadsheet which I hope you will find useful.
