Woo! Order accepted 9/12, went to "Preparing for Shipment" in the last 2 hours..

Hoping it arrives early next week as I will be working from home all week! :) I'm in the UK.

Just ordered

I'm upgrading from my loyal G4 MDD so this should be a step up.

As I am not the 'heavy' user some talk about here, but I wanted to keep this new baby for a while I went for the i7 with 1TB Fusion and the 675MX card. It will fry the Radeon 9600 (upgrade from a 9000) in my MDD big time I think.

As others I will upgrade the RAM later adding 16G, this should be sufficient for a while.

To those who will try to point out the MDD is (was) more in the MacPro league conceptwise, you are wright, but I do not have the kind of cash to spare to get me a decent MacPro that runs circles around these iMac's.

Ordered on 08/01/2013 with a (cost free) financing plan, hope this will not add to much waitingtime:confused:

One order confirmation mail received from Apple, hopefully the next one will follow soon after.

Hi guys just a few quick questions on ordering, its my first time ordering from apple. I ordered my imac 27 inch on thursday just gone. I had email to say that they are processing it, and its processing on my account. Does that mean apple have accepted my order and nows its a case of waiting for dispatch? (Money has been pre-auth'ed). is it just the one email after order placed and then one on dispatch? Thanks. Simon

Apple will have accepted your order, if your payment went through they will have definitely accepted your order. They will probably be looking at what you have ordered (if custom specs, how much RAM, graphics and so on) then it will probably be built in china and then shipped to you. I'm in the same situation, I have ordered a 27" iMac (7/1/2013) just a matter of waiting now

Thanks I'm worried though. I paid with a debit card here in the UK, it's been pre-auth'd the money isn't available to me but its not been charged. On the website it says debit card payments will be charged on placing order and credit cards will be charged on dispatch. So I'm concerned its not gone through buts its processing?

If its processing they will have accepted your order. It will be in the processing stage for a while because Apple are busy with meeting orders and they are probably backloged.

Yea I can see there behind. Thanks for the response. Have just checked my apple account on the apple store app and my Visa debit card is on as a credit card so I presume it will be charged once dispatched. There is no option for a debit card. Roll on the end of the month!! Thanks Simon

Mine is in transit

It left pudong on the 7th but the tracker hasn't updated since (TNT)

Is that normal?

I was going to order right away, but when I saw the estimated delivery of 27th-1st, I hesitated and decided to order when delivery times go to 8th-15th January, since that is the week I am back from snowboarding...

I can appreciate the excitement, but you ought to take control from iOS on predictive texting. Your message here could mean anything from your order has shipped to invitations into your love world.

Kuehne & Nagel anyone?

Hi,
mine shipped to Italy on Jan 4th, listed arrival date slipped to Jan 15th from an original Jan 11th, i have now a tracking number and the courier listed is Kuehne & Nagel, which as far as i know handles the "first part" of the shipment and then handles to a courier.

Last tracking info on the K&N site shows "Docs released to third party" on Jan 7th, probably in Luxembourg as far as i can tell.

Anyone in similar situation? Was just wondering if there's any chance it could arrive before the weekend, generally Apple is conservative in its listed delivery date.
