My wife said exactly the same! If I'm paying over £2k for a computer to be delivered after nearly a month waiting, I want a delivery time given to the nearest minute!! Next time, shop for me too.

Me too.
Now its here on my desk and its gorgeous but frankly had stressed me so much waiting it..it was weird to go in the Store and hearing that my order would have been processed as in the online Store...so what sense makes an Apple Store then?I understand this has been because of the major costraint and issues about new Imacs but i hope this is not the way Apple will manage their stores in the future.I want to go there and pick my Mac there.

Ive posted this in the other thread but as i'm from the UK i thought i would also post in this UK thread. As of today My 27" iMac has changed from "processing" to "preparing for shipment" i ordered the following specs on the 7th January.

3.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz
•
16GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2X8GB
•
3TB Fusion Drive
•
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2GB GDDR5
•
Apple Magic Mouse + Magic Trackpad
•
Apple Wireless Keyboard (British) & User's Guide (English)
•
Apple Battery Charger
•
Accessory Kit

Patience just patience...

:apple:
I, as a Belgian resident, ordered an 27" on the 8th of january, our local apple online store provided a payment in 12 months without any costs added so I went for that.

Some delay was caused because the order stayed in "awaiting payment" until I had completed some 20 page form the credit provider mailed me and I had to send back, all through snailmail :(

The delay was not even in the snailmail because I sent the signed documents back on friday and Apple informed me all was ok 2 working days later (all as promised on Apple's website)
It seems to go wrong after the completion of the web order on Apple's site and the subsequent rerouting to fill some forms on the credit provider's website. Because I did not here from Apple nor the credit provider for a week after the order and I had to return the signed documents before a certain date, I called Apple.
They advise me to contact the credit provider as I did, they in turn told me the documents had ben sent to me and they would arrive soon.
They did within 3 days but those documents stated a print date after I made that last call :mad:
If that was not annoying enough the documents also stated some credit checks were done on the 9th, a day after my order, so they waisted 6 days to even have the documents printed before sending them to me

Those 6 extra days put me back in the line for delivery on the 21 to 26th of february as opposed to delivery on the 5th to 12th s originally stated Apple's order tracking system.
I agree the terms were like that as they stated the date could change at the moment the "final payment" had been fulfilled but I cannot feel otherwise than the "bank guys" are responsible for at least 7 days of that delivery shift. They probably only sent of the documents after I called:mad::mad::mad:

But I is on its way to me

So there you are warned Belgian buyers, credit will not cost you cash but time:rolleyes:

So they are now processing orders from January 7-9. Mine will be processing in 8-10 days then since I ordered 16th of January:(

Might be of interest to someone: I was in the Kingston Upon Thames apple store on Saturday and asked if they had in stock the 27" with 3.4Ghz, 680MX, 8MB, 1TB Fusion. They didn't but they did have the basic spec version.

TNT tracking

My order form 12/23 was shipped on 1/26.
TNT is my carrier but since 1/26 the tracking page from TNT only states "26 Jan 2013 22:50:50 Pudong International Airport Shipment In Transit. "
No change since saturday.
Are they carrying the iMac by land on a horse?

Posted in the other thread, but this one is more fitting as I am from Germany:

Ordered Feb 22, ETA Window Feb 22- Mar 01

27" i7 3.4
1TB Fusion Drive (anyone else think of Mr Fusion from "Back to the Future"?)
8GB RAM (not paying the Apple premium for 32GB! 3rd Party FTW!)
680MX w/ 2GB
MM and Track Pad
German wireless keyboard

Finally making the transition to OSx and retiring our Windows Craptop. I am quite excited as I am looking forward to the challenge of learning a new OS, as well as NLE - the key reason I am switching to Mac is that I want to do more video editing as a hobby, and a new iMac plus FCPX is cheaper than a comparable specced PC with Avid.

If anyone is looking for a 27" iMac with the 3.2Ghz and the GTX675MX here in The Netherlands in Breda we have some BTO models left (about 20 units) difference is they have a corded keyboard instead of the wireless keyboard.
You can find them at Media Markt Breda.

Just had notification this morning that my mac has shipped.
Estimated delivery date on or before 5 th Feb.
Order date 27 th December.

iMac i7 3.4. 32 GB. 3TB fusion drive, 680MX video card, magic mouse and apple warranty.
