UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

Yeeha!! Just changed to preparing for shipment!!

Guys - I am in the UK. From this stage to actual delivery, how long should it take. Friday 21st would be the last date I would actually be able to pick it up.

It's usually overnight. Within 12 hours I'd say.

mine said shipped yesterday but I dont have any information about where it is. Dunno how to get that? my shipping provider field on the confirmation is blank

Mine was only 2-3 hours, surprised at how quickly the process has been for me.

There's a shipping ref number on your tracking page (very long). Then go to track it on UPS website. (mostly with UPS here)

AAAAAAHHHH! Yes, finally I can stop nag now...at least for a while, in a couple of days I'll start moaning about were it is..... I'm far from China so this will take a while.

The original order quoted delivery of 21 Dec - 2 Jan, so no guarantees I would see it before Christmas Day.

When I got the shipment notification yesterday from Apple it stated "on or before 20/12/2012"

UPS now reckons "Tuesday, 12/18/2012, By End of Day"

Under promise, over deliver. Way to go Apple! So much for all the nay-sayers who reckoned nobody would see the 27" models before 2013. Just five more sleeps.

A fine bottle of Prosecco Spumante Rosé selected and ready to go on ice. Need to select some suitable music for the unpacking. Maybe At the Castle Gate in memory of Sir Patrick Moore?

I don't think anyone in the UK has had their 27" iMac delivered yet. The earliest I've seen on this board is an estimated delivery of the 17th December.

The longest number I have is 10 characters long and I've tried all 3 of the numbers on UPS and none recognised. Same with TNT

You may have received a tracking number even before you're able to track it.
This is just normal (I think) and you only have to wait for max 24h to be able to track your .
