UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

Ah, fair enough - I didn't think we'd see them till post Christmas / early Jan.
Did they have any for sale?
shop was really busy, so didnt ask just had a quick play with the one on display, they also had a 21" on display as well
I saw the 21"... wow - crazily thin. A lot thinner and generally smaller than I expected. Can't wait for the 27"!
You can use an external and use terminal to create a fusion drive, that's what I've done.
Mines arrived in Cologne too. Estimate delivery date is 19th Wednesday I reckon it will arrive Tuesday seeming its in cologne just now!!
Mine is in the same batch as yours, I was also hoping tuesday, but thinking about it, it has to go to HR customs, then onto the hub and then delivery, so I think it probably will be weds.
Would be nice if it were a bit early though.

Question for anyone with previous experience of UPS: can you arrange for them to just hold it at the depot for collection, and *not* try to deliver? Mine's scheduled for Wednesday, but I can't have someone sit in the house all day waiting for it - if I can arrange to just swing by their local depot on Wednesay, instead of have them try to deliver, fail, and then have to go to the depot on Thursday, would make life a lot easier... (Yes, I'm impatient..!)
Not sure about that but hoping mine escapes out of Germany (been there since Thursday night) sometime tonight and is due for delivery tomorrow. I am not too bothered if it dosn't make it in time to go out for delivery as I hope to be able to pick it up at the Depot. Certainly managed to pick up an iPad one when they were launched straight form the UPS depot the night before the official launch. I think it was a bit of messing about, but did manage it. I had loads of ID and proof of purchase/delivery info and they ended up accepting that.
I will try and call first thing and see if they can hold it at the depot for me to pickup after work.
Mine is on the same plane 00:41:51 Pudong but my estimated delivery is the 18th! Maybe because destination is Germany and the plane will land in Frankfurt? Either this or my estimation is wrong.

Another batch of packages for delivery has just arrived at Germany. I believe they may have been waiting for them so they could deliver both batches at the same time. Expect them to move tonight.

I wouldn't mind getting mine early.I think TNT european hub is in Belgium and that's where the plane goes first before being dispatch.
Every TNT flight leaving Shangai goes there.
So is mine! Delivery on the 19th to Norway. Can't find it on Expeditor. A lot more action for the UPS-guys during the weekend!
I have now tried both the reference numbers I have (not the W one) and they both give me a blank screen saying "No data available in table" ...

What I posted earlier to some of the others stuck in Germany...
Mine hasn't moved since the import scan at Köln at 1am on Saturday, however is still showing 'delivery by Tuesday end of day.'
If other people's experiences are anything to go by it seems the units just turn up in the UK without having going through exit scan from Köln. Maybe they are being shipped by road at the moment.

With the 15" Retina MBP earlier this summer, the packages were flown to germany and went the rest of the way by lorry.
The thing that held orders up the most was HR customs. I'd be willing to bet that those who think their package is in Germany, it is actually at Heathrow customs. But maybe not.
My iMac got to Germany today, hope it isn't going to be stuck there for a few days.

Mine too still saying "delivery on time", and I'm wondering the same thing. It is meant to be delivered tomorrow, Monday.
I'd rather it said "not on time" then I would know what to do regarding when to be home etc.
Don't think I'd rely on that long term, what happens if the external becomes disconnected, could it corrupt you files?
