UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

I see several of you are able to do quite detailed tracking of your iMacs... My details give me no other details than "Shipped on Dec 12th - delivery according to schedual".... What do I do to ace its movement like some of you are doing?! I am so excited no!! :)

Ordered BTO with Applecare 8.30 on 30th, Delivery 27-28th
Shipped Wed 12th 15.51, Delivery 20th

So I reckon 18th or 19th depending how long it takes UPS to get from Heathrow to Hinckley for the Applecare Merge. Won't be long now with a bit of luck! :)

I am literally exactly the same as you. Depending on if it goes to hinckley today or tomorrow will depend on tuesday or wednesday delivery I think. IF really lucky, might be tomorrow.

Same flight my delivery date to Ireland is the 28th.
It usually takes 2 days for UPS to deliver once they receive the order from Apple in the UK.

I would be surprised if I didn't receive it before Christmas considering Apple will merge the iMac with AppleCare tomorrow?

Yeah I ordered late on 30th Nov… got estimated dates of 28th Dec - 4th Jan. Still Processing… though Apple have taken a £1 temporary charge on my Credit Card so hopefully things are about to move. Praying for action tomorrow!

Mine was BTO with Trackpad and Applecare from HE store.

Thought I'd give the Trackpad a whirl though I am used to the Magic Mouse… are there any other Trackpad users? What's your experience!?

I will also pay attention for tommorw, because mine is still processing, but I have to check my CC, if there are any moves. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

One more thing, I've ordered mine on Dec 3rd.

Anybody's imac in Castle Donnington?
Is that supposed to be the last UPS depot before reaching its London home?

No movement today at all...
Was scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.
Not sure if I should call in sick or not.

Castle Donnington is one main UPS hubs I think. Mine normally goes there and then North Rode. Check the status at 7-8am tomorrow, I bet it will have changed then.
 
Not sure whether this is news or not but popped into my local premium Apple re-seller just now to ask about 27" iMacs - they didn't know when they'd see any BUT, they had been shocked on Friday to receive one out of the blue in a shipment.

They had a waiting list so sold the day it arrived!

Is this the first news of a 27" in the UK?

I saw one in the flesh at the Solutions store in Bournemouth on saturday
