ARGH!! I just decided to cancel Applecare in the hope that delivery would be speeded up…. but as a result my estimate delivery schedule WENT BACK from 28 Dec-4th Jan to 3-7th Jan. IMPATIENCE FAIL (( On hold to Apple to see if they can undo what I just did.

Once you amend an order it creates an new Purchase Order.. no way to change it back in my experience.

yeah, that was pretty stupid. At worst applecare will add a day, so that's like an extra 2 hours on your computer bearing in mind it's xmas so not gonna be able to spend all day on it

I think our iMacs are shipping with UPS Worldwide Expedited which, at 2-5 business days, isn't (as the name suggests) their fastest service

Mine is due to be delivered on Wednesday, so will probably spend at least another day in Germany.

It is shipping with a UPS service called WORLD EASE which should "simplify customs clearance by grouping several shipments destined for one country or the entire European Union into a single shipment." So they will probably be clearing EU customs in Germany which might also be why they seem to be spending some time there.

Mine has been shipped using UPS. Delivery Northumberland, UK. Order 8pm 30th Nov. should get to my door on the first day of my holidays. Happy Days!

I ordered mine 30th for delivery to northumberland too lol. Where's yours? Mine's at heathrow apparently having arrived from frankfurt. Can't track on UPS for some reason though just expeditors

How do you track it when its not merged yet ?
For me there's no way I manage to get any tracking info from the numbers I got.

As an update my AppleCare plan just got delivered too! Hopefully this means that the merging is happening today, AT MY HOUSE!

Did anyone order a BTO iMac on the 5th? Mine still says "Processing Items" with delivery between 4th and 10th of Jan (which is more than the 3 - 4 weeks quoted).

I had the same delivery time and shipping time, but I've ordered on Dec 3rd and today morning it has changed for Preparing for shipment

I got the same - assume your iMac was on VS251 too then? My assumption is that the delivery today is delivery from Expeditors to UPS/TNT, and Nilesh works for them. Once our iMacs have merged with the other items (I've got a SuperDrive coming) then we'll hopefully get UK carrier info.

I'm currently on for delivery on the 20th. As long as they don't try to do it tomorrow I should be fine.

Just remember 3-4 weeks is counted on working days (monday to friday).

Still mine just got preparing to shipment although i had 3-4 weeks and a delivery frame from 2 to 8 of January.

So there's still hope!

Mines still in Shanghai, just got my tracking number. Had trouble tracking it using the UPS site until I used the Track by Reference option and not Track by Number.
