I had the same delivery time and shipping time, but I've ordered on Dec 3rd and today morning it has changed for Preparing for shipment
I actually ordered mine on the 4th, but took out the 0% interest loan over 10 months (why not, you pay no interest and it's been an expensive xmas). I am just getting bored of waiting now... I WANT MY NEW MAC!! But the fact that you are preparing for shipment gives me hope that it will be a couple more days. Mind you there are still a lot of people who ordered on the 30th that have not had their status change... Makes you wonder how they are processed...
Just remember 3-4 weeks is counted on working days (monday to friday).
Still mine just got preparing to shipment although i had 3-4 weeks and a delivery frame from 2 to 8 of January.
So there's still hope!

Yes... I am one of the lucky ones, it didn't take long after my order was confirmed that the date slipped again, I would expect a lot of people are going to wait till Feb, so I should count myself lucky.

Still can;t get UPS to show anything but wonder whether this is because my order has to merge with applecare. Tried every number I have in the track by reference option.

and I'm expecting to see the status change to 'Out for Delivery' today (it's currently showing as 'Ready for Delivery'), but seeing as though I ordered both Applecare and a Thunderbolt cable, does 'Out for Delivery' mean that it's being delivered to Apple for merging, or to me?
I've phoned Apple a few times and they've always said Applecare isn't actually a physical item, so I'm guessing it's merging with the Thunderbolt cable. By the way, my order was placed in the first few minutes of 27" iMacs going on sale on the 30th, and through the HE store.

Just checked with Apple & the latest is it arrived at Hinckley 10.56 this morning, has merged already so just waiting UPS tracking number. 'How long' question is equivalent to 'How long is this piece of string you can't see?'
So it's Paul Daniels (remember him!' or keep refreshing 'Deliveries' app on my iPhone.
Exciting. Must get some work done!
I'm in more or less exactly the same boat as you and guessing it goes to apple first then to your local UPS hub before being "out for delivery" for you. Until you can track on UPS I'd say its a day or two.
I have same tracking info as you and my guess is at 3 o clock it'll move to apple for merging, then ship to your local UPS maybe today if lucky, then either out for delivery from there tomorrow or the day after.

I know. Been 20 hours waiting now. I couldn't sleep last night.
It was like back in the days when I was 10 and the night before my first flight ever.
Just saw UPS website note saying it could be well over 7pm because of xmas season. Really hope not..

Mine is the same, but now my delivery has been pushed back from Dec 19 to Dec 20.

Your iMac left Köln on the 15th and went to Castle Donnington where it stopped for 30 hours before being sent on to Stanstead, whilst mine didn't leave Köln until the early hours of this morning and then arrived in Stanstead 24 minutes before yours. Is there method in this madness?
My iMac is now exhausted, sitting in Stanstead warehouse with its feet up and won't be coming out to play until tomorrow.

Hmmm, perhaps it does after all. No room in the cargo hold? I think I have the latest delivery estimate of this Friday and if the next flight isn't until Thursday I doubt my delivery estimate would be met, never mind you guys that don't have the 'Ide Centre' update yet but earlier delivery estimates. Let's just hope TNT have been slow updating some of the shipment statuses.

In the same boat as you, mine is out for delivery but hasn't turned up yet.
Some Apple products I've ordered before have turned up incredibly early in the day for me (I had the iPhone 5 at 7.45am on launch day) but no such luck for me today.
That's ok as long as they weren't holding the IMacs in the wing
