UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

I placed my order on 3. of December and the status changed today to delivered :).

It looks like I have it here during my holidays!

I've order the 27" IMac with following configuration:
3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
1TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 675MX 1G GDDR5

I've also ordered on Dec 3rd, but mine is now Preparing for shipment. It gives me some hope that it will come before Xmas ;)

If one bought the imac with applecare for an example it needs to go to a hub to get merged.
Is it impossible to track it before that?

I haven't been able to track it atleast.. :(
 
I am pee my pants excited for my new mac...

Still in Germany (since the 14th) but still due tomorrow...

I have an empty desk just with a trackpad and new g-drive waiting for the bad boy...,

Finished work now for This year too (sabbatical) so will have plenty of time to mess it up lol!!!!

There's a workaround to that, which goes something like (you'll need to check this) backup to external drive using Time Machine and reboot from there, use a command line instruction to decouple the Fusion SSD and HDD, create a 1TB partition on the HDD, recouple the SSD and remaining HDD, then reload from backup.

You then create the Windows partition (say 200GB) which further eats into the Fusion capacity and what you end up with is something like a 1.9TB Fusion, a 200GB Windows partition and a 1TB partition for other stuff.

I think mine is with yours but it still says departed Dubai! 19th...

me too, staffordshire, UK, expected delivery on weds.
I think that our iMacs are in the UK now, judging from other's posts, they have not been scannining them out of the Cologne depot, probably because they are busy with Christmas.

So, I just called TNT. They said, that everything is fine.
They also mentioned that its is scheduled for delivery on the 18.12.
So they wouldn't deliver it before the 18th.

Hey there, same status here, still in Germany and still pending to receive on the 19th :( i think that tonight it will be scanned for export, travel during the day of the 18th to Barcelona and will arrive on the 19th during launch time.:D

It took your iMac 3 days to get from arnhem to Germany???? Mine left Arnhem 2 hours ago and is supposed to be delivered tomorrow! That scares me a bit to be true since I took the day off tomorrow just to receive my baby. Why took yours 3 days from there Jesus...

Yeah its strange, maybe they are just using the max time range they have for delivery "on time" to pack up the plane with the maximum amount of packages they can so they dont waste the fligh for nothing, thats my guess!!! either way, 2 or 3 days in Germany doesnt matter if their delivery schedule is still "on time"

As you can see, his iMac arrived in Castle Donnington a mere 15 minutes after leaving Cologne. Clearly, they are not scanning them out. Our iMacs are surely in the UK now. I can smell it

It could be that the departure scanning does not update untill later on, this is the last flight of UPS242 to Barcelona which was today: http://www.flightradar24.com/data/airplanes/n307up

If its not already here, its pending the next flight, the same for UK i guess!

Tracking

For those wanting to track their iMacs, use the 82 number on the Apple Bridge/ tracking on http://www.expeditors.com

I have seen a few people talking about cancelling applecare or changing their order to get it shipped faster... making any alterations after you have placed your initial order will see your shipping day move back further rather than forward as they have to resubmit the entire order....
