UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

I had went for the base 27 imac but after reading these forums I started to regret the graphics card in it. Was happy to go for the higher spec with the 675 graphics card but as I was getting student discount the upgrade was £100 for the 660MX. This was too good a price to turn down!

I do a lot of video editing and use Photoshop. This was the imac I had originally went for. I blame the forums for upgrading lol Can't wait to get my first mac!

Just got the notification that my order has shipped, due to 'receive it by 2nd Jan'. At least I can start tracking the thing now instead of just refreshing my order page!

Update: According to UPS it is scheduled for delivery on 27th by the end of the day!

My order has shipped! Just received the e-mail from Apple. It should be delivered by 2 January 2013. I hope it will get here by the 30th of December but will not hold my breath I guess :)
 
Just phoned Apple to see if they could provide a day/time when my order would be delivered. The lady I spoke to was lovely and she said it probably would be delivered on the 21st of December as the order was merged with other items at the Apple depot. She then went on to say that it also might come on the 22nd, 27th or 28th. Meh! :mad:

Mine is still "out for delivery" too, though it is 20:20 and the UPS lady said they normally finish delivery at 19:00. She also said they put in more hours at this time of the year but really I expect it tomorrow.

Pretty sure mine travelled with yours on flight OZ521 into Heathrow yesterday - Delivery reference 8237399682.

Expeditors has been reporting it has not having cleared customs all day which means it doesn't look too promising for this week. :(

My original delivery forecast was 27/28 December. My shipment email did say 21 December though which is this Friday. To make that it can't be going up to Hinkley to merge with the other order items. Hopefully it will be this side of Christmas - too eager to get it that I'm not concentrating on other things I need to get done!

At first it said "on vehicle for delivery today", now it says "exception" and:
London, GB
12/19/2012 8:12 P.M.
The package was missed at the UPS facility, UPS will deliver on the next business day.

Does this mean they forgot to load it on the van?

I hope there will be someone at home to collect it tomorrow. Sad now :(

Unfortunately no, status info on expeditors says that it arrived at destination (i.e. London Heathrow) but not cleared for import. I got a feeling it might get delivered on their estimate of 21st rather than tomorrow.

Yep, my order was on the same flight as yours. The girl I spoke to at Apple seem to think the order had been merged already and was to be assigned to a courier soon. I hope so.

I'm thinking that expeditors.com isn't the best way to track our iMacs.

Says Processing. Not sure how long till it says preparing to ship

Got mine today! So far super happy with it.
(3,2 GHz i5 w/1TB Fusion, 675MX)

Estimated Delivery Date when I placed the order was 28 Dec to 4 Jan. Changed to Delivery by Dec 21 when it shipped on the 14th, and got delivered today (by TNT) on the 19th, so good news all the way.

Good luck to macuserpl and all you other guys who are still waiting. It is going to be weird not checking this thread and my order status 20 times a day . . .

I have the same flight number as yours - the same status from expeditors - from the tracking info they had hoped to release it by tomorrow but looking at their website its still pending customs clearance - this really sucks -let me know if you have any updates and i will do the same

i hope that expeditors website isnt the end and all and - the imacs on the flight we all have had ours on has been sent out for distribution - im glad you called apple to query them - i take it they had more info that what we see with a conventional tracking number on the expeditors website - i might give apple a call tomorrow and see what the latest update is

You are for sure the first dutch guy/girl i see on this topic who has got his iMac. I'm still at processing :(
 
Finally it's changed to shipped.

It says expect it to be delivered on or before December 28th
