UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

People of *Team 19th*, how are you all finding your new machines? I'm pretty excited about getting home and powering it up!

Hopefully the others who weren't as fortunate to get theirs today will get them soon!
 
It's strange, on the UPS tracking system it still doesnt say its out for delivery but on the Apple tracker it does :S

why did i wait so many years to get a Mac, its awsome.
Being a Mac virgin, i will take my time and get used to it, but first impressions exceed my expectations

Yes I did I got the HE discount with the AppleCare uplift - Mine was delivered yesterday :):):)

Not allowed to open it till next Tuesday my wife says :confused::confused:
 
My delivery date has just changed to Dec 19th!!!!!!!!!
How is it possible?? It was shipped on Monday!!

Just got off the phone with UPS, tracking didnt update but the delivery van is "out for delivery" so it should arrive anytime now untill 19:00 GMT +1, darn it, this waiting game is killing me :) HIT THE FREAKING GASSSSSS JOE!!!:D

Yeah then it went to Edinburgh then Glasgow, should have just drop it in the depot in between two cities, that way it would have been today!

This is awful. I'm waiting for this, which apparently still hasn't reached my local depot and a parcel coming from Germany with DPD DE. The DPD one has dodgy tracking.
 
Hi Rich,

seems our iMacs had been on the same stupid plane. I've got exactly the same tracking status. I called UPS this morning to ask what was going on. The lady said it would now arrive on Friday instead of Thursday and I should call tomorrow then they might have more details. But I doubt that it will be delivered Friday, cause it hasn't moved for over 24 hours.

According to the Apple site, my order is still Processing with an estimated delivery of 27/28 Dec. This is a built to order machine so I'd imagine it's coming from China.

Shouldn't the status have changed by now?
 
Mine shipped a week ago but I have not yet been able to track it because of the merge....so frustrating-if I knew this I would have bought the apple care in some shop afterwards :( Ill be amazed if the planned date for delivery is actually true. 4th of January and me only being able to track it's whereabouts 48hrs before delivery. So that means its gonna be shipped for 2.5 weeks until am actually even able to know we're it is... That's below talentless.
 
IT HAS ARRIVED!!! FINALLY!!! OH THE GLORY, OH YEAH!!!

I am going to digg into it slowly :) catch you guys later, and if everything is perfect, have a mary christmas and happy new year :D
 
WTF, the apple tracking now says delivered by 27th December. It should have been here today but got the late trailer status.

Grrrrr. I'm seriously doubting I'll get it on Friday now. Mine has to go to Newcastle/Gateshead then delivery to Northumberland. Its still in Korea after a brief trip to Kazhakstan. The depot is 35 miles away, may be having a little drive over the weekend!
 
Mine arrived safely, just. The UPS guy called at the wrong house and by chance I glanced out the window. I managed to catch him up halfway down the road in bare feet. I've never run so fast :D

Hope you all get yours before Christmas, and if not it'll still be a wonderful new year :)
