Sounds like 14th is D-day when the machines will be available in Apple stores. So I'd imagine people will start receiving their goodies this week. Even in Europe.

UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

We have no chance of getting our macines delivered on friday unless they ship by tonight. Considering it is 9pm in china i doubt it. Gutted.
Personally I have always found Apple's shipping estimates to be pretty bang on. I am expecting to get my iMac on the 21st December and not a day earlier, if it does come earlier then its a bonus.
I ordered mine with a trackpad
so thought I would call Apple and try and blag a mouse too
didn't have any luck though. They said they could change the order to a mouse, however that may cause a delay in shipment (NOOO!) as they have to effectively cancel the order and re-order for me. I asked how much it would cost to add a mouse to the order (hoping for a generous/free offer) however was told they couldn't add any items to the order.
I also asked what the chance is that my Mac will arrive in time for xmas (my delivery schedule states 28 Dec - 4th Jan, and was told there was no chance of a pre-xmas surprise. Boo

I think they were only reading out your est delivery date for you.
So don't worry. My gut feeling is you'll have it by xmas.
I hope you are correct! I guess we'll know as soon as the early orders start shipping.
Watching this thread like a hawkMine's from the HE store too. I had to cancel the first order I made on the phone and re order online once I could get on the network (Wanted the 680MX). I think I just slipped into the earlier estimate.
When I spoke to Apple yesterday, I was told that the Machines will ship 2-3 weeks before the given delivery dates, at the very latest.
So that would indicate, with a Delivery date of 27 Dec, 2012 - 28 Dec, 2012 that it should Ship by 13 Dec - 14 Dec.
Thats the same date, as some US customer are getting theres delivered! but anytime next week would still be great.

I ordered my UK BTO 27 inch iMac 7 minutes after they went on sale at approximately 0840hrs from the UK HE store online. I upped to 1Tb Fusion and the 680MX.
My delivery estimate was, and remains, Delivers 27,28 December. Current status is Processing items. Nothing has changed since placing the order. I will post when it does. I was basically refreshing the screen every couple of minutes on the morning they went on sale and I think the most I could have missed the start time was by 5 mins and I had the order clicked up and confirmed in under 3 mins so I would have been fairly near the front of the online queue..

I think UK HE orders went live about 8:20ish on the 30th. My confimation email was sent at 8:29, and it probably took me 2 mins to run through the order.
Currently still 'Processing items'.
My delivery 'window' is still: 21 Dec, 2012 - 02 Jan, 2013.
Ordered mine about 08:30GMT too, and mine still showing "Processing Items Dispatched: 2 - 3 Weeks Delivers 27 Dec, 2012 - 28 Dec, 2012"
had a friend order mine from the educational store, £1796 for high end 27" with upgraded CPU & GPU & Trackpad. Saw what i wanted at 8.49am on the launch day, but he didnt order until 10:38am.

Like you I ordered 1TB Fusion and 680MX at 0840 from the UK Store. Delivers 27, 28 December. Still Processing.....
My confirmation email was at 8:24am. I had everything queued up beforehand with address, credit card, and which configuration boxes to tick. Had a trial run ordering a Mac mini, then cancelling at the last moment.
Just as well as I was a bit bleary-eyed having been up half the night.
