UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

Looks like my iMac has left the Pudong Airport! Fly hiiiighhhhhhh.

I wantto raise my hand, but it must move from the airplane to the Netherlands within less than 24 hours... So I guess it will be here after Christmas (27 dec because we have 2 Christmas days here)
 
Mine was expected 20th, then 21st now 24th. It left Tamworth 3 days ago no sign of it hittin my local Gateshead depo. In fact it's been in the uk as long as it took to go from Shanghai to Korea to Kazhakstan to Germany. UK infrastructure blows.

Please contact me via quote of this post or private message, if you ordered your 27" iMac after 2:00 PM PST on 11/30 and it is preparing for shipment, Shipped or received. If possible, include date / time ordered and specs. I ordered the i7 wit 8GB, 680 and 3TB fusion and am still processing

Almost - what it is is that they thought it might snow so they put snow chains on all of their trucks. Problem is that they can't drive on the roads on snow chains without snow so they are now just waiting for it to snow so that the can get our iMacs to us.

Remains @ 28-31 Dec. May give some hope to other early placed but late processed orders: delivery times seem to remain on schedule, despite the strange sequence of order processing.

This morning: Humbug.

Our iMacs are in flight right now! They departed a couple of hours ago, and I'm tracking the flight in real-time. Check out my Twitter for a screenshot with the flight number: @basvanderploeg
 
Mines been stuck at Stanstead for almost 48 hours for no apparent reason! Unless they get their skates on in the next 3 hours, I have no chance of delivery tomorrow :(
 
Much to my surprise my iMac flew into Castle Donnington in the early hours and is now back to delivery on 27 December. I'd pretty much given up seeing it until the new year as didn't think it would clear customs that quickly. Very excited again :)

Hope the other ones that got stuck in Cologne on Friday are in a similar position and the ones all ready in the UK get a move on.
 
Oh yey!! Mines left Stanstead, reached London, and is out for delivery (even tho ups delivery date still says 28th?!) Lools like Christmas is coming today!! Did anyone else's arrive earlier without the delivery date updating?
 
Well I didn't expect that ! Mine is out for delivery on Xmas eve. Original delivery date was 02-jan. gotta love that Xmas spirit :D
 
Out for delivery after being in the UK four days. Sheesh. Christmas Eve is not the most convenient time to stay in.
 
To the three posters above me, which number is your tracking number for a courier?

On expeditors it says

24-Dec-2012 15:00:00 GMT Requested Delivery Date LONDON, ENGLAND (LHR)
24-Dec-2012 05:45:00 GMT Out for Delivery LONDON, ENGLAND (LHR)


But I don't believe it'll actually be delivered today. Is that what you're all going on?

Am I supposed to track any of these numbers, or has my tracking number not appeared yet.

I've had UPS quoted and their tracking number from shipment. My delivery isn't merging with any other items so it comes from ups direct from the factory in china. If you ordered other items then you won't get your tracking number until all items are together and are passed from apple to your local courier.

Mine says on vehicle for delivery on the UPS tracking page. That's good enough for me !

Mine is also at Castle Donnington having flown over from Cologne, it's gonna be a case of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and then iMac Day :)
