Was driving around the M25 yesterday and pulled into Bluewater, they had the new MBA in stock!

Typing this on my mid-2012 11" 1.7/4/128 :)
 
What's everyone else's estimated delivery date for orders that have been shipped? I can't believe that mine is going to take 9 days to get here now that it's been shipped, but that's what the Apple estimated delivery date is. It's now expected to be here on the 25th, while when I placed the order it estimated the 22nd at the latest...

I think they really just take the worst case scenario with this. I ordered on Tuesday, 12th of June, got the shipped email on Friday, within their estimated 1-3 days for a CTO MBA and now hope they update the merging shipment with an actual UPS tracking number.

Similar to your order, I first got a 21-25th estimate, but the shipping mail had the 25th as estimated delivery date. So yeh your order will most likely arrive sometime next week, not the Monday after.

@agedge did you have the gift card + MBA, or a shipping without the need to merge items before delivery?

No giftcard I did order the tbolt gigE but no merging it seems.

Currently looking to be full 9days for mine 11th -> 20th, originally it was on 18th.. to 20th
 
I ordered the 13/128/8 model from the UK store within 10 minutes of the store going live.

My original expected delivery date was between the 18-21 June, but has been pushed back to the 22 June for 1 or 2 days now. I also have no tracking details yet.

The interesting part ;) ...

I just called Apple to see what was going on with my order and when I could expect it to arrive. They were pleasant and seemed certain I could expect delivery by the 22 at the very latest. I explained that the delay to the order was disappointing, especially given users who had ordered later from the US had already received theirs. In compensation, they offered me £50 iTunes Credit upon delivery of the Air

Quite frankly, I was quite (positively) shocked that they offered anything at all, and it is little things like this which makes me happy to stick with Apple.

Leaving this here as I see a number of you are in similar/same situations. :D

I ordered my 13/8/512 also on the early evening on the 12th. Within the 1-3 days, i.e. friday afternoon (approx 70 hours after order) I got my mail about shipment. Products needs to merge so I dont have any tracking number yet. First estimate said 27-28 (Im in Sweden), and the shipment mail said 28.

My biggest question is... How can it take UPS 13 days from shipment to delivery to my home? Amazingly slow, it just cannot be true. Im waiting for my tracking number after products have merged and I hope for "early" delivery.
 
Ordered 13th. Shipped today, 16th. Still in China based on UPS tracking page. Estimated delivery on 25th.
 
How odd - just checked the status now and the picture of the Macbook Air has changed into an Apple cardboard box - what's happening?! :eek:
 
Also in the products merging boat since I ordered from the HE store and got the free £70 gift card thrown in. However, I don't see why they couldn't jut email a voucher code to the value rather than having a physical card.

Still, the CTO to 8gb RAM was a no-brainer long-term and with the Edu discount and free £70 to load up on books, I can wait a few days more.

Says I'll get updated tracking info 48-hours prior to estimated delivery date, with TNT usually doing the drop for me.

Good to hear of £50 iTunes voucher though - another example of Apple customer service which often gets ignored when anti-Apple brigade do their like-for-like comparisons based on cost alone.
 
Has anybody in the UK received their MBA yet? Are they to be shipped with UPS as well or do the various order numbers they've given me work on a different courier?
 
I ordered mine about 20 hours ago, it's on "Processing Items" and I think it will be for a day or two yet as it's coming with the voucher, wireless keyboard and mighty mouse...

I`ve only registered here to say thanks for this great link! (Obviously I´m reading here a lot of time, but my english is awful)

I ordered my MBA 11 (i7 2Ghz/ 8GB Ram/ 128GB SSD) & 80€ gift card on the 11th (Germany),
estimated delivery was 19.-22. & a few days later the 26th.

Now I can see that there is hope to get it on the 19.06.

Is it still the case that all shipments bound for the EU have to go trough customs in Cologne, Germany?

My Air's currently flying into London and should arrive in the 18th. Estimated delivery 19th. Which is brilliant considering Apple are claiming it's coming on the 25th. :D

Not going to get my hopes up though, those couriers take their time over the strangest things. :p

I do love a bit of detective work… I guess my MBA is sat in LHR somewhere waiting for someone to take it to the Apple "Merge in Transit" centre. It landed on KE503 (and that plane is off over Asia now), and the "Requested Delivery" of 19/06 is, at a guess, the expected delivery date with Apple. They'll then merge my stuff, and pass it onto a final mile courier (TNT, UPS, etc) for delivery to me (probably via a 48h or so service), which brings us to somewhere around 20-22nd depending on how fast Apple can merge/dispatch - which is exactly the estimate they gave me. Fancy that!

Well, that's another five minutes passed…

Looks like we have similar tracking dates. Although it claims my package contains "two pieces" so there's a chance both my Air and gift card may have already been "merged."

Mine claims six pieces, and now matter how I count what I've ordered I can't make it add up to six.

I should add that my above post is entirely speculation/educated-guesswork (this one too!).

Woops, arrives on Monday, will be sent to my address on Tuesday (hopefully, fingers crossed)
