Mine was at Birmingham at 11:56pm last night and said it was on its way to Dundee!! No update since then 😭 hope he hasn’t got lost
 
In the queue in Edinburgh store. Didn’t get here til 8.15 for my 8.30 slot. About 18 people in front of me! Thank goodness I stuck car in a car park than on a meter 🙄

I really hope walk ins don’t get mixed up with reservations. I don’t want to be queuing for hours when I already went through the stress at 1pm last Friday getting a reservation!

On another note, this is the first time I’m getting rid of my current phone at exactly the same time I get a new one. When selling myself I’ve always held onto my old phone for a few weeks to iron out anything. Giving up and being ‘phoneless’ For a few hours before I set up a new one is gonna be weird.

I’m also tempted for the first time to restore from backup rather than set up as new, save some app logins...

In Bath, people just waking in were being recorded on the reservations list so that there were no mix ups. There were only a dozen people in the reservation queue at 8am anyway.

I can’t speak for others, but it depends on the depot also.

Plus, I upgraded my delivery to the 8-10am option in the DPD app.

However, generally my DPD packages are always delivered around 9-11am.
 
How to make a cup of tea:
  1. Put water in the kettle
  2. Open courier app on phone to check if tracking details have updated
  3. Switch on kettle
  4. Check app to see if tracking details have updated
  5. Put tea bag in tea-pot / mug (as preference
  6. Check app to see if tracking details have updated
  7. Check if kettle is still boiling
  8. Check app to see if tracking details have updated
  9. Repeat 7 & 8
  10. Once boiled, pour hot water into pot/mug
  11. Check app to see if tracking details have updated
  12. Check app to see if tracking details have updated
  13. Check app to see if tracking details have updated
  14. An hour later, remember you were making tea, realise it’s now cold and ruined, go back to Step 1. after...
  15. Check app to see if tracking details have updated

DPD still at the depot. DHL for my watch is out for delivery, but no indication of time slot or nice how many stops away graphic 🙁

Given the increased availability of iPhones now (no madness like the weeks to deliver after launch day with the 4), I can't understand why the scalpers bother, can't be much money in it. If they're sending to countries that don't have the phones on release day that might be something I guess.
