Good to see all the usual faces coming back from hibernation to this thread!

I'm perfectly happy with my 11 Pro Max, though my wife's XR is rapidly running out of storage space after it's been filled to the brim with photos and videos of our boy (21 months! I remember sharing news of his birth in the XS and XR thread nearly 2 years ago...)

Hopefully no phone envy!

What I am interested in is the Series 6 Apple Watch. Whilst I've been largely happy with my Series 5, the battery life has been poor and aside from the always on display, very little changed internally from the Series 4 before it. Particularly keen on trying out a stainless steel version for the increased durability and ability to polish it out, if needed.

As much as I’d love to upgrade, we have a baby due in November so I don’t think I’m allowed :(:p. This will be the first time since 2010 that I haven’t upgraded. At least it will make next years upgrade even better!

An excuse to take more/better pics of the new arrival?

Just say the 12 pro is said to have even better video recording. 120fps 4K lol

I'm keen to see what the 5. 4 offers! Will you go pro, standard or large?

I’m hoping the 5.4 is acceptable for my wife. She hates big phones but there isn’t much on the market so she’s stuck with the OG SE. Same with my daughter. Hopefully they aren’t too expensive and they’re on decent contract offers soon enough

I’ll probably refresh my 11 with a 12 6.1. Small enough for my pocket, big enough to be comfortable reading.

After years of upgrading yearly, I’m now on a 2 year upgrade cycle, mainly for financial reasons, tbh.
Owning an 11 Pro, I’d love to get this year’s new industrial design, but will wait for next year.
Selfishly, I’d be happy if 120Hz only comes in 2021...

Seems to be a boring update this year besides the bigger screen and LiDar
From the sounds it will be all about the cameras. There’s no other rumours aside from photos and video.

120hz would make sense in 2021 given we will have LTPO displays so will allow battery life to be better and have a refresh rate like the iPad.

If the leaked pricing of the iPhone 12 range is correct I think this year if I changed I would go for the iPhone 12 Max specially if it's going to be around £749 to £799 making it a good £200-300 cheaper.

Now that 120hz is canned I cannot see any reason to get the highest end version for myself as I never use most of the camera's on my S20U!! apart from when I first showed off the zoom lens to my mates.

Wide Angle and normal lens are 99.99% of what I use.

With all the off and on again 120hz rumours flying around is anyone going to buy the Pro models ONLY to see if 120hz could be turned on in the future? ignore camera specs and if not interested in 120hz!

To be honest waiting for the price iphone 12 pro max if they release the phone for £1199 basic model.
I rather spend my money on iphone 12 £700 and a iphone SE 2 £419 much better value.

No 120hz(or at least 90hz) no sale for me.

It’s not just the refresh rate but 60hz with the animations means that compared to the high refresh rate droids my 11 pro actually feels sluggish now.
