iPhone 11 Pro, 256GB in Silver. Pick up from Apple Store after work on the day. Not pulled the trigger on the watch as I want to get rid of my series 2 on the day, so will probably trade that in while I am there.

I have this as well but compared to sim free + full upfront cost/24 (and no unlocking hassle) its pretty much the same, so I prefer the flexibility of simfree 12 months contract and fully unlocked iphone froim day 1

Makes sense, I’ve bought outright previously too.

However this is a great option for those who want to spread the cost as if you take handset price out it’s only £29 per month for unlimited everything WITH Spotify for 2 years.

Their SIM only deal with the above terms and 15% discount applied is still £30.

Natwest - We've noticed some unusual activity on your card and blocked a recent transaction............

I just switched from Santander to Natwest, everything is designed for your money to never leave Natwest. It was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. Got £150 in compensation from them so far for their terrible service

Seems like a good deal to me! :O

added a section in the FAQs r.e. the ordering process for IUP.. comes up a lot every year and i'll have forgotten in 12months!

How do I pre-order and join iPhone Upgrade Programme?
You will have 2 options, either as an existing member or new.

Existing Members
as an existing member you can check if you are eligible to upgrade and if so, go ahead and reserve.

New Members
You can reserve, if available, the phone of your choice

you will not have to pay or use a card during this process as it is a reservation for an instore appointment. Remember that acceptance onto IUP is subject to application and credit check etc.

the following are screen showing the order flow from the iPhone 11 launch.

please note the banner at the top where you can check upgrade eligibility for an existing member or reserve for a new IUP member

you can then choose the model

and then the store followed by the time (out of what is available)

then its a case of turning up, checking and taking the appropriate ID needed and going through the application!

True, its nice to be able to spread the payments with effectively 0% interest
On the other hand, the sim free monthly is also discounted and the contract is only 12 months
As the phone is unlocked from day one, eBay is always available as an exit plan ;)

Sincere question: what do people do with 100GB per month? is it shared / tethered around other devices eg: watching Netflix on another screen etc? do you use it all?

I have Virgin fibre at home for streaming telly and PS4 etc, so I struggle to get through more than 5GB data just doing 'normal phone things'.
