Anyone still waiting for a confirmation email that did an in-store collection?

I had mine shortly after 1pm, but my partner hasn't had an email through yet???
 
Just a weird afterthought... I live chatted Apple Sales last week asking if you could reserve online for iUP collection instore, they said you couldn't... idiots.

EE was one of the easiest upgrades or orders I've ever done, I just gave them a call like a few other people had done. Genuinely friendly service, quick and very easy to complete.

I didn’t bother with others as 100GB no point...I won’t use that anyway

They said to me to wait 24 hours for an e-mail confirmation

I think you said you’re on an older device? The difference in price change in trading now to say in a few weeks might not as be as significant and still be better than apple give you.

You could also try and pick up a phone in store (assuming you’re buying direct from apple) and do a trade in then.

I've already ordered my new device and I'm not close to an Apple Store so in store pickup wasn't really an option for me without a long drive.

Sky still says order now for delivery on 20th for all three of the new phones. Plus if you’re part of Sky VIP (free to sign up to) they give you and extra one off 20Gb data in your piggy bank.

Back in 2008 when the iPhone 3G launched, Carphone Warehouse phones were delivered but the sims weren’t activated for a few days. I was actually in a couple of newspapers complaining about that debacle. 🙂

Going down the iup route, there’s nothing to track. Just a case of waiting for Friday

So my wife ordered through three website when it came up and it says 20th delivery.. how likely that is who knows.. she’s not overly fussed but will do a live chat Monday to clarify once it’s all calmed down a bit!

I’m still waiting for my watch order to re appear however!! That is my concern right now!!

It’s as sure as Quidco or tcb not 100% guaranteed but there cs is excellent nothing ventured
£1150 in e gift cards so around £75 off edenred I use my BlueLightCard

I havent ordered it yet I’m still undecided between a note 10 plus 5g I can get 10% of that studentbeans and cash back

I got my email at 13.02 regarding my iup collection.

Did you purchase outright for collection?

Vodafone was the same - someone on here tipped us off that they had opened pre-orders about 20 minutes before the Apple Store was due. Logged in, picked my handset and tariff and order confirmation arrived within 5 minutes.

Hope next Friday is as smooth!

Well my order has gone though with EE

iPhone 11 Pro 256GB Silver
Unlimited Mins/Text
100GB Data
Amazon Prime Video and BT Sport
£80 up front
£72 a month

And they’ve said currently its still showing that it’ll be coming next Friday as well
 
I played it safe, just ordered an 11 Pro Max 256, Space Grey. I was thinking about Midnight-Green but thought it may limit case choices. Arranged it to pick up in-store, and got the time I wanted. All good so far.
 
I also went with the Applecare+ as well.
I still have a year Applecare+ left on my XS Max, but I'll cancel the remainder before I sell the handset and put it towards the new handset instead......

Chose a late pickup window when I placed my preorder earlier to make sure I’d be able to make it after work. What are the chances they’d allow me to pickup earlier?
 
Got a DPD text through from EE now. Says delivering 16th (Watch 5 and iPhone 11) . DPD must get it on the 16th and hold it till 20th?

Anybody else’s ordered from carphone warehouse? Heard they had trouble delivering orders on delivery day in the past can I expect it to go smooth? I went for instore pick up as I will be working
 
So... I’m amongst those waiting impatiently for next Friday to come

I was last in this corner of the internet for the iPhone X launch in 2017 and its strangely reassuring to see usernames I vaguely recall from two years ago!
