Definitely might try it this year and then I can make the decision next year whether to keep the 12 pro max as a work phone or trade it in again. By the time I get the phone this year it will only be 10 months until the next one anyway 😂 if we’re back to normal
Let's hope we're back to normal and a vaccine comes out. Working from home every day is putting stress on my mental health.

So those on Three - do you need to a “5G sim“ or, as their website suggests, should any any existing 3 sim work ? There’s some reference to an automatic software update (carrier settings update ?) only.
I’ve been with them for a few years so my sim is old.

I’ve been with them for 3+ years and my sim picks up 5G

i'm in Reading, mostly 4G but some areas are 5G like the uni etc, whenever i go for a walk i tend to go past it so i'll test it then. London etc i'm pretty sure do
Ditto - looking forward to trying it but EE’s 5G looks patchy here except a big blob over the station. Working in Northampton currently and coverage looks much better there so will have to compare!

So when you get voicemail it doesn’t alert you at all? That’s weird. I’m about to join Vodafone and rely on voicemail daily.

I'm with Vodafone. So visual voicemail is a service where, in the phone app, when you tap "voicemail" you can listen to each voicemail as a "voice message" and you can visually see them as a pose to having to call your voicemail inbox each time to hear them. Also you do get texts when someone leaves a voice mail and when you have voicemails to listen to.
The visual voicemail service is available to new customers and is being rolled out to existing ones slowly.

Thanks for sharing. I rang sales the other day to enquire about their sim only plans and e-sims. The agent went away for a few minutes and came back to say they don’t 🤦🏽. You would think they should know

esim on Three is currently only available from select 3 stores for new connections only. They are doing a snail pace rollout by the looks of it
