Have you tried installing yourself before? Is it manageable?
I know tho that it has the tray for installation but no squeegee will be a bit hard for bubble removal.

My dad always does it for me. Never had a problem. He finds it really easy. I don’t know if that helps though

A day off this thread, busy with work, on return it's relentless! Some great info.

Right, I'm now completely non the wiser about what colour Pro Max to buy. Based on that hands on, I've added Graphite to the mix alongside Pacific Blue and Gold. Reckon Apple provided a 3 week extra wait as it's going to take that long to make a firm decision!

Silicone cases look superb, I'm personally going for leather, especially if fully sealed at the bottom. Actually tempted to go no case given the Pro colours are popping. Will get a quality tempered screen protector as usual too. Magsafe charger, I'm holding fire for myself as already own a 30w charger.

Black Friday to upgrade my contract, currently on Vodafone SIM only £14 unlimited 4G data, calls, texts. May switch to EE pending on 5G deals plus 5G network coverage in London & Scotland!

Pre-ordered an iPad Air 4 in Sky Blue but keyboard will have to wait. Those Dbrand skins look great.

Good luck to those Amazon one price for all orders! Expecting Apple shipping information on Thursday on the 12's and 12 Pro's.

I won’t go anywhere near the NHS COVID app. I don’t trust it and they aren’t getting access to my data.

Your paranoia is unfounded, the app is not ran by Serco and uses the Apple/Google API.

Wish more people in this country would suck it up so we can be rid of the virus more quickly.

It’s really easy to do it yourself. I always manage bubble free

I always spend ages putting mine on and then there is always a really tiny spec of dust or tiny hair of some kind that creates a bubble. I then end up buying a 2nd that goes on perfectly.

Same this is why my boyfriend calls me the queen of screen protector fails 🙄 but as a female I hate doing them so I just get my dad to do it or someone in Apple store 😂

On a slight side note here guys. I know there have been lots of reports of iPhone battery draining fast with iOS 14, and its affecting me but does anyone know if this is because of the new NHS covid 19 app and if its not, how does one fix the drain? Hoping my iphone 12 pro won't drain as fast as my current is :/

It's one widget in particular causing the battery drainage issue for the majority of people, I believe. It's the smart stack widget and I think someone said it's the 'Notes' section of it. I noticed my battery was draining within a few hours until I took that widget off and now it's as it was before.

I get the Apple store to do mine. Benefit is that they'll redo it at their expense if you are not happy. That's worth it for me.

Yup - the app is private and built off something that apple and google jointly developed.

Exactly... it uses a token/id number to link to you that isn't connected to your name, address or any other piece of info connected to you.
