They are certainly up there. I do recall a time during lockdown when I was out and a driver left the item unattended, I never received it so obviously I went to the company. They did an investigation and the driver lied and said I told him to leave it so. The driver turned up at my door the next day quizzing me asking if I had it, said he would lose his job etc, it was proper weird. Anyway the 'local' depot decided he didn't do anything wrong so obviously the company didn't refund me.

After a complaint to the CEO team they decided he WAS in the wrong and said I would get my money back. I have never seen that driver again despite upwards of 15 DPD parcels delivered since then. I feel kinda bad if he lost his job but I cant just swallow up £200 to save a mans job.
Unlucky that he got sacked, but seems to me that it was the only solution as DPD can’t have people like him working for them. I have never had any problems with DPD whatsoever. Their tracking system is second to none, they are so far ahead of the competition it’s unreal.

He MIGHT have just been taken off my route (or even house). I felt really weird about him coming to my door and quizzing me, like I was lying.

Its weird as I have two (even three) depots 'near' me. Hinckley (48 mins - 36 miles), Sywell, (18 mins - 11 miles) or Rushden (24 mins - 17 miles). Parcels always used to come from Rushden, now I don't get any from there, its nearly always Hinckley with the odd occasion Sywell.

Annoying as if I miss any deliveries I cant just drive almost 100 miles and 2 hours to collect.

I still find it hilarious that the Apple.com thread is boasting about beating us in pages - I'm like 'but why?'
I’m surprised that you even have to ask why?! That’s Americans for you in a nutshell, they want to be the best/number 1 at everything. It doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad. The same thing happend when covid broke out, the Europeans had the most cases(Italy and Spain) but the US said: “hell no” and now they are leading the statistics with most cases and deaths. They just want to be number 1 so badly...

I got my 12 Pro 128 GB order in Blue about 5 mins after the store came online, but only got a Nov 2 delivery date 😢. It’s still in processing so I’m not holding out much hope of it shipping sooner.
Same here. I’m keeping fingers crossed. My email says arrives 28 Oct-2 Nov so hoping it’ll change. But the App Store just says processing 2 Nov. 🤞🏾

They can be number 1 - no complaints here lol

It usually does come around the earliest date they give, 2nd Nov is worst case and that in my experiences hasn't happened to me or others I believe.

Oooohhhh my charger and iPad air case has shipped and my baltic blue watch strap has changed to preparing to ship. And all of my cases and screen protector are due to be delivered today. Lots of deliveries for me

Plum silicone case due to be delivered today by Royal Mail apparently (Even though my Apple order still shows as tomorrow)

Not that I can do anything with it, if anything it gives me 1 less day to return it when I exchange for the leather! 😂 😫

Have you tried installing yourself before? Is it manageable?
I know tho that it has the tray for installation but no squeegee will be a bit hard for bubble removal. I got one ordered for delivery but want to try myself.
My dad always does it for me. Never had a problem. He finds it really easy. I don’t know if that helps though
I always spend ages putting mine on and then there is always a really tiny spec of dust or tiny hair of some kind that creates a bubble. I then end up buying a 2nd that goes on perfectly.
It’s really easy to do it yourself. I always manage bubble free
Same this is why my boyfriend calls me the queen of screen protector fails 🙄 but as a female I hate doing them so I just get my dad to do it or someone in Apple store 😂
Yeah, those tiny dust specs are a pain.
A little bit of time, dust free stickers and straight out the box are my fave ;)
Time, patience and sitting down at a decent height table have always worked well for me when it comes to screen protectors.

...go on YouTube and search for 'screen protector book method' :

This is by far the best method and guarantees no bubbles (well - I can install flawlessly!!).

;)

Same, 2 blue mag cases and 2 mag chargers arriving today, for me to look at until the 28th.
(or Friday if Amazon actually delivers, which it's still showing it will?!,why have they not been cancelled yet?)

...if you're talking about Barclays 0% finance - there definitely was no option for home delivery. How have you managed this??
the option to deliver to home or collect in store were both there even if you took the 24month finance and pre-approved.

.....anybody know if when we transfer our data/apps from existing iPhone to the new iPhone 12, does the data also transfer shortcuts created on the existing phone ( i.e. I have a bunch of custom app icons which have been created using the shortcuts app on my iPhone XS, so that when they are clicked, the icon opens the shortcuts app which then opens the appropriate native app) ?

I really don't want to have to create all my shortcuts again if they are not transferred over....!!
