Just had a very weird experience taking to Three's live chat. Firstly I queried if i needed a new sim for 5G and they said no.
Then they tell me they have great deals for existing customers like myself. I'm currently tied into a contract till June so i thought early upgrade, that would great! Get talking about a SIM only and they say 100gb for £15 which i'm happy with as my current contract is £36/month (was for a S10+ that broke). They tell me no upgrade fee even though my contract is up in June. I'm here thinking i'm winning the jackpot, then they say we'll have to send you a new SIM. This is when i have to ask "i'm keeping my number right?". The response was "no". I really have no clue how they've messed this up so badly.
Anyway the point is I've wasted my lunch speaking to Norman and if you have an existing Three sim it should be 5G ready.
