ESR case/screen protector arrived. Basically the same size as the 11 it seems.

Also have a 2x30w USB-C PD charger from anker just turned up, plus USB-C and lightning cables. That’ll be used to upgrade our ‘charging corner’ in the living room to provide two fast chargers. Likely mainly used for ipads as the phone lasts all day anyway.

Just the magsafe charger and phone I’m waiting on now. Charger is a couple of weeks out so I might try stormfront or john lewis this weekend on the off chance

Just been on the phone to mobiles.co.uk (aka Carphone Warehouse) and they are not shipping any iPhone 12’s for launch. All stock delayed until the 3rd November apparently. Well that’s disappointing.

Super sorry if this has been asked previously, struggling to find an answer!

If I were to use a normal case (non-MagSafe) with the iPhone 12, would MagSafe accessories still work? Or is it that a MagSafe case needs to be used in order to then use other MagSafe accessories?

If I don't need to use a specific MagSafe case, I'm struggling to work out the benefits of buying one? Can anyone help clear this up for me?

Depends how thick the case was I assume, the thicker the case, the more the magnets on the phone have to work.

I need these reviews to start coming out asap!

Had my heart set on a smaller phone since I got my launch day X which means I'm going for the mini, but the Pro would mean I won't lose the telephoto lens (which I don't use all that much atm if I'm being honest), however, I really do want to downsize the phone so it's leading me back to the mini even though I'm really liking the graphite Pro colour.

ARGH!

Just seen this, might interest someone wanting 5G. £12.50 per month for 100GB 5G on Vodafone. They also have unlimited for £16 a month.

I always buy straight from Apple (even if there’s a delay), I don’t trust these third parties as there is no guarantee when and how much stock they will receive. They just like to over-promise in order to get you to place an order and then later say there are delays and etc. With Apple, you get a guaranteed delivery estimate and most of the time, receive the phone before the upper bound of the estimate. I once ordered an iPhone 7 Jet Black from Vodafone, got it 1.5 months late. I ordered an iPhone X from Apple, got an estimate of 2-3 weeks but ended up getting it 1 week early! Peace of mind and no disappointments is why I always order direct from Apple. No need to constant email or phone customer service agents to figure out if my delivery is even coming and etc, it’s too much stress!

100% agree with this.

Also, you can be absolutely confident that if you change your mind about the phone/product, then you can simply return it, no questions asked.
