If this Amazon order actually comes off I'll be amazed, Will have saved quite a bit on the Mrs Gold 256.

The blue 12 Pro looks so much nicer in these reviews pictures than what it does in Apple’s marketing... would have made my choice between that and graphite a lot harder, but fully committed to graphite now, which I know I’ll be happy with.

Getting increasingly optimistic I might actually get a 256 Pro from Amazon!! Single device ordered, so if it does arrive it would be one hell of a discount!!

I also get one on Friday from Apple, and the bargain one from Amazon on Saturday. Can I return the sealed Amazon one to apple? I know they scan serial number, but it is the same thing at the end of the day?
just return your apple one to apple?

That's correct. It would be a bit rich if they wanted your charging brick back when they don't supply one with your new iPhone.

just checked my 11 box and I still had everything in it - tends to make resale easier if everything is unused. So now I have a spare 5W charger (don't care, won't use it), a pair of lightning earbuds (don't care), and a lightning to USB cable (worth its weight in frayed gold wire)

I just can't see Amazon honouring these, I'm not sure what markup they get on these but I'd think it would be smaller than the discrepancy.

Meaning, if Amazon ship these, they lose money on every order, I can't see it happening.

That said, Oculus did ship me an extra sensor/controllers by accident, but that was noticed by them after shipping, we know Amazon has spotted this. Oculus then asked for them back, and arranged shipping. (I then told them I'd moved to Mauritius and they stopped contacting me 😅)

The email confirms they are dude

They do stuff like this all the time. Customer satisfaction is their priority. I ordered a pair of AirPods Pro and could not find them after the delivery notification, waited a few days and used the Amazon app to report the issue, using the chat bot (not a real person) I got an instant refund, no questions asked.

This must be PR from Amazon, even if its £1 drink per order...surly they want customers to buy directly from there

They are a joke of a company for customer service mate, no end of problems all the time. Today the driver just throws it down at my doorstep knocks on the door and walks off. I have a ring doorbell and he couldn’t even ring that. My house is open to the street. This is the second time in a week.

I've got 2 512gb orders from amazon, should I cancel the blue one? I prefer graphite..

Amazon's philosophy all revolves around customer satisfaction. It is their number one principle for all jobs:
Sure maybe they lose a few million in the short term, but they are going to gain overall.

I don't know whether to be jealous of those people who took advantage of Amazon's mis-pricing or not. I myself have benefitted from their mis-pricing in the past.

Boris has just announced that Greater Manchester is being placed into Tier 3 from (as I understand it) midnight on Thursday.

Does anyone know if Tier 3 requires shops like Apple Stores to close because if it does, that creates massive problems for collections on Friday and beyond?

No shops will stay open.

None of the tiers restrict non-essential retail I don't think...

I don't think even places such as hairdressers need to close, pubs can stay open if they serve food and shops also still open

the majority of people are still working from home, I think I also read today that gyms can also stay open now on tier 3 so im not sure what much of a difference tier 3 is to be honest!

Anyway back on topic 😂
