Apple do need to give the Pro that more premium look though so I suppose they can't go sticking shiny polished stainless steel edges on everything.

Personally think they should just go back to the one phone instead of the none pro and pro and concentrate on a single device. then knock £100 or so off the overall phone so it still 'appeals' to everybody.

Or drop the 'Pro' off the Pro and just keep it as the iPhone 12, then drop the 'iPhone 12', and keep the SE and Mini.

I get that they need to appeal to all possible buyers but is there really need for the SE, XR, 11, Mini, 12, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max?

Agree. I went for the pro because in my opinion it looks better but there’s little differentiation between the 2. I don’t think it warrants the pro label as everything is the same except camera and band material. I think I would have felt better if the pro had a better screen like last year

in the time you went from having it in your basket to processing the order the dates must have slipped. Apple will hit the dates given, usually if you have a window of dates the can come at the earlier end of the scale.

I would still expect Friday.
It is likely possible that they will hold your order at your local sorting centre until release day.

If I order my MagSafe now and it’s says collection tomorrow, I can’t get there until Saturday. How long do they keep it for or do I have to collect tomorrow?

I ordered mine yesterday for collection today but online it says I need to pick up by Nov 6th

Picking mine up on Friday when I get my 12 pro

Did you email them to ask, or did they just email you? I have one ordered with them that’s for the 3rd Nov too.

no sorry, missed you said the 28th. It will be the date you have on your confirmation email. there have been years that the send batch (people who missed the launch stock) have ad their orders processed the day after people got their deliveries... just can't say.. seems the demand for the pro was higher than some analysts were expecting so you can only do by the date in your email.

£59 is taking the mickey, even by Apple standards (as is £39 for a magsafe puck without plug).

I had an Apple clear case last year which was awful - and slippery - so I feel there's a good chance I'll bypass all things magsafe until there's no port and/or my Anker Qi chargers no longer cut it.

Sounds about right. Ordered mine at 1:04 and got 23rd whereas my sisters one I ordered at 1:05 and got November but opted for store collection which was launch day. The Apple app loaded for me at 1:03 as well

It’s rather worrying that the case comes off so easily. Just isn’t worth the risk unfortunately.

That’s definitely true. I think the live chat team are foreign whereas the call centre staff are based in Sheffield. It’s less of a robotic script over the phone I’ve found.

Do Apple do colour exchanges or do you have to return for refund and order again? Also, if on finance, will this make a difference?
