Well I have received all my emails from apple (dispatched,trade-in and AppleCare) the wife has only received the dispatched one. I everything comes though for her

Update for the ao order if anyone is interested. So yes, dpd shows 4 tracking numbers but only one is moving to my local depot so I presume the others are void and just a technical glitch. All in all, good news

Glad to hear you’re at least getting the one you’ve ordered! I’m going to cancel my order with AO if I manage to snag one with John Lewis tomorrow.

Goodness me, who gets any phone these days on contract, complete and utter rip-off.

I considered iUP but I've never used AppleCare so it's money wasted.

If I had planned this year better, I'd have got a 0% offer on a credit card for 24 months and used that to pay for the phone.
I completely agree! Never had a phone on contract. Btw you can choose to get iUP without Apple Care (I was considering doing this, but it requires you to go to store etc and I usually upgrade every 2 years anyway)

I haven’t came across her videos myself, but I think a general problem is that there is far too many Youtubers or reviewers who are in it just to get a free product or to get it early.
Far too many will do an unboxing video half heartedly, and then just list off the specs/features off the Apple website, some even just use the stock images.

I know a lot don’t like her, but to me iJustine is good because she’s enthusiast and excited (sometimes a little over excited). However her enthusiasm just makes you smile. What I have noticed with her is that she will try and review features. So for her AirPods Pro review, she showed you how to do the fitting test and how to change between the different listening modes, even the different ways to do that. She also recognises that saying Hey Siri can set off your devices, so often mutes that from her videos.
As I say she’s very excitable and I can understand what that’s off putting to some people, but she will genuinely love the product and will try her best to give a review and demonstration that others won’t.

May as well stay up now to see if John Lewis have stock at midnight. Laying in bed refreshing my faithful 7+ (Iphone).

Well, I’m heading off for bed safe in the knowledge that DPD is handling my delivery.
Even if it hasn’t even been picked up by them yet! Hopefully it will move during the night.
Well I didn’t even make it up the stairs before I got the ‘We have your parcel and it’s on its way to your local depot’ notification!
🎉🥳

Absolutely astonishingly good service from AO bearing in mind I ordered only yesterday evening after Currys screwed up my order I made on the first day of pre-orders.

My direct order from Apple shipped by DHL is not moving :(
DHL website is just showing the parcel as "Collected" , on Syncreon the last update is "Arrive Terminal" at Ryton today at 12 PM

Reviewers that get the iPhone early for videos don’t actually get to keep them.

They all have to sign a loaner contract prior to receiving their units, agreeing to give the device(s) back undamaged.

In the end, Apple STILL makes them buy their own

Paying £50 per month for an iPhone 12 Pro 256 GB with 100 GB data is not a bad rip off in my opinion 😊

300 pages wooo! ...but no iPhone for me from EE tomorrow it looks like 😢

Yeah. EE been pretty silent on it today, hopefully update late night or tomorrow morning.

Only update I had was the contract updating from the old to the new plan.
