This was exactly my experience at Birmingham.

Will need to rebook to visit the store when they finally have the new store install versions and machines in.

They resolved it in the end, took a few earpiece conversations to find someone that knew, but got there in eventually.

Birmingham store were fannying about regarding the screen protectors, bringing down the 11 Pro first, then the 12 Pro, then realising they didn't have the store installation versions.

Will need to go back in another day.

was also told there's a 2 year guarantee on the Belkin ones so to register it. If it ever cracks, Belkin will send a new one and the apple store with fit it?!

my pro from AO arrived at 0850. Its sat on my desk next to me still in its box. I have a busy work day till 5 ish but I'm working from home so who would know if i take some time to set it up during the day??!

I’ve literally got to the Bromley store 20 minutes early (slot is at 9:45) - time now is 9:20 and they’re turning me away saying I need to come back at exactly 9:45!

In Kingston, I checked in with a rep that was identifying reservations from walk ins and just asked to wait in a socially distant line.

Very efficient.

I had this situation. They send a new one but Apple won’t fit it as they will identify it as Belkins problem. Only time they will refit a protector for free is if you have had an in-warranty / AppleCare replacement.
