My 12 arrived!

Won’t be able to set it up till later but don’t like the blue anywhere near as much as the blue on my Xr.

Love the size and shape. The 4s was my all time favourite phone (till the Xr). So whilst I prefer the Xr blue I prefer the shape and size of the 12.

Picked up my iUp reservation this morning at the Liverpool store. Not a lot of people, great staff and experience was pretty decent. Picked up a MagSafe charger for good measure as well.

Tip for Apple Watch users.

If you use Quick Start you can transfer your old watch directly to your new phone without doing the un-pair/re-pair dance.

After setup your watch(es) will vibrate and ask if you want to transfer to the new device, and asks for the passcode.

If this step isn't happening, reboot all your devices (old phone, new phone, watch), open the Watch app on your new phone, tap your watch, and select Finish Pairing.

Collected my 12 Pro in Graphite, very happy with my choice of colour. Looks great with the silicone plum case.

Feel in hand is much nicer than the curved edges, even more so with a case.

Screen is excellent, no warm tint on mine that was reported by some people.

I bet amazon never make a pricing error on iPhones again after this.

they will be losing many many thousands of pounds and more likely millions because of the error they have chosen to honour these hopefully.
when for other price glitches they have refused and cancelled.

maybe it was an amazon decision to get good publicity or perhaps apple chose to chip in too the last thing they would want is thousands of customers refused the new apple phones because of an error.

Both companies are worth trillions of dollars i doubt this price error will worry them in the least.

Forgot to unpair my watch this morning prior to handing the old phone back in for IUP upgrade. Was pleasantly surprised when my watch tapped me and asked if I’d like it to pair to the new phone I’d restored from iCloud backup on. Nice touch.

Mine disappeared shortly after I got the “You’re next, we’re 5 to 15 minutes away” text.

Although that was over an hour ago & since then 2 DHL vans have come & gone with no sign of my phone... 😭

My Amazon order is now showing a serial number of the phone (not sure if already mentioned!) and is being posted via Royal Mail (would have preferred DPD, but at least Royal Mail usually come early!)

I will look for edge to edge film rather than tempered glass. Edge to edge glass SP will peel off after a year or two of abuse I guess.
Now returning belkin SP and will stay naked a while.

Not busy at all. I got there an hour late for my pick up but straight in, 5 minutes later I was out having a KFC waiting for my restore to complete.

The only thing holding me back is the lack of PVD coating to stop scratches as I go caseless.

Decent download. Not great upload. Upload’s not critical but in these days of photos being uploaded to iCloud, Dropbox syncing etc, 2Mbs ain’t gonna cut it.
