Really upset that I missed the boat with the apple pre-orders because of the stupid Apple Store app. Missed Curry’s, missed Amazon, missed John Lewis, missed Voxi, missed reservations at apple again this morning. I can’t find any damn place that has a 128GB Silver iPhone 12 Pro. Looks like mid November delivery everywhere now.
Might have to skip this year’s iPhone, this is really getting too much!

Not really..long story short..
Originally ordered 2 64gb iPhone 12 from Apple. Then saw Amazon had screwed up so bought the same phones again but 256gb version at only 849...then saw the 256gb pro were 849 too so ordered 2. I was always going to return the 12’s if the Pro’s arrived, but at that time none of us expected them to be honoured anyway.
1 pro has been cancelled. So...the two 64gb will be returned to Apple. The single 256gb pro I will keep and we will keep one 256gb normal 12 that we got £100 off RRP...confused much?
So those Amazon dispatch emails then, what time have people been receiving them?

I feel your pain. The was my situation too. I'd sold my x too last Friday. So I had an Apple Watch paperweight and a 5c in my hand. I even bought an iPhone SE (mk1) to use for WFH and so I could use my AW.
I have ordered a 256 Gb Pro from JL for pick up tomorrow. Cancelled my (processing) Apple order and now have an SE to sell on....

Haven't had one either yet. Ordered at 1.38pm. It's probably just to do with your location. Maybe they get dispatched a little later if you're near a big depot (I'm in London).
Anyone coming from an X/XS, how does the size of the 11 pro compare? Is it a lot bigger? Can’t wait for mine to arrive (hopefully before the 2nd November).

It depends on how the light catches it... it's easier with the real thing.
Fits in nicely, not to slack and the lip gently clicks in around the phone. A little pressure around the camera and ease the lip back and it comes out.
Near a store? Keep checking local stock daily ( ideally from 6am) you’ll be sure to pick up one in a week or two max
Just spoke to John Lewis. If you go in through the order tracking link you were sent and it no longer shows a drop down allowing cancellation then you should get delivery tomorrow on express or Monday otherwise. They're happy to check for you by phone to if you want to confirm. Courier will be one of DPD, Royal Mail or Hermes, usually allocated about 10pm tonight and we should get a text by morning with a 2h delivery slot.

If amazon are using their own couriers then I normally get a dispatch email anytime between 8pm to 11.30pm , going to be a long day avoiding the other phone in a certain DHL box!
