Its not all bad, if they did send me an email saying something like 'sorry its been delayed a week' then I would just open my apple order and use that for the week then return, I just refuse to open it for a day to then return it.
...Now if they send me an email and say its been delayed a month or so outside the 14 day apple return period that's when the issue starts D:
Would probably keep the apple phone in this case and then sell the amazon order at RRP privately when it eventually arrives
FYI anyone looking for a USB-C power brick, O2 are doing the 20W one for less than the 18W - £19!

Amazon have sent stuff to my home via DPD and Royal Mail so fingers crossed happy with either of them.

Well my order from AO was delivered this morning as promised and is now all setup and working. ESIM swap from Vodafone worked like a dream as well, all done through the app. And, as an added bonus when the delivery man dropped it off he said 'Here's your phone young man' - I hit 50 this year so am not often called 'young man' anymore 🤣
What phone are you coming from? And how does it feel using it one-handed? I currently have an 11 Pro and it’s still too big for me. I’m hoping the square edges make one-handed use easier. I love the size of the mini but I don’t want to lose my telephoto camera.
.....a little weird putting a bright red case on that beautiful silver finish - should have gone for the red phone!
Thanks, very interesting. I'm going for the 12 Pro Max so, based on that test to hazard a guess, that will be a bit shorter battery life than the 11 Pro Max but still a beast!
Comparing to last year, both 12's didn't keep up that well with both 11's so the new A14 chip is maybe not compensating enough to help the slightly smaller batteries in the 12's. Possibly software update too will help improve it.
It will be caseless most of the time. The red case is for contrast. I intend to use a yellow wallet on it as well... big bold contrasty colours and the white phone goes with most colours quite easily without clashing.
But the main reason is that the silver band will polish up like new as it will pick up fine scratches over time

Someone previously referred to orders over £500 but not really sure about it. Should be related to insurance as well as Royal mail is insuring the items.
when amazon messed up my xbox one project scorpio version on launch day they sent it via dpd and gave me free vouchers i doubt they would do it this time as were already getting the phone for at least 20% off retail price.

'tis a shame John Lewis stock tracker doesn't doesn't show the phones physically in-store (as pictured above in Southampton). I'm in a queue with their Live Chat to ask if they can see any better internally.

11 pro but I wanted bigger but not max size bigger so it’s the perfect in between for me
