Anyone here getting their 12 Pro delivered by DPD? It said they'll deliver by Tuesday, but when I changed delivery date, I could pick Monday at the earliest. Anyone here managed to get it today even though their delivery date was set for next week? It was dispatched last night so I have the tiniest of hopes it could come today pls? 😩

I have just ordered a new ESim with EE for the new phone when it arrives. So when it does, do I just need to remove the data plan from this 11 pro and activate the new sim on the new device?

So so excited! Had an initial delivery estimate of 28th due to having completed order at 13:05 on preorder day, which moved to 26th, however just had a message from DPD I'm receiving my iPhone 12 Pro today, absolutely over the moon!!!View attachment 972901

Were you told 26th until today when you got this message? I also pre-ordered first thing and have DPD delivering it. I could change from 27th to 26th at the earliest, but since it was dispatched last night, I'm keeping a slim hope that it'll arrive today??? Although I haven't heard anything yet tbh.

Just add the new esim to the new phone and then fill in the SIM swap activation form on the EE website. About two minutes later your old esim will die and the new one will take effect.

Ive got the Blue 12 Pro and I’m letting my mind be open to the size and the fact I won’t have the upgraded Camera hardware on the Max.

Like some on here, I’m a Max phone guy all day long, but I’m prepared to give the 12 Pro a well run test to see if it will work, and if the size will be adequate for my needs. I’m not closing the door on the Max just yet, but I did order the 12 Pro Max case and due to the straight side edges, it’s big in hand

I‘ll see how it works for the next couple days and take it from there...

Yeah I ordered silver from Apple as soon as preorders went live (although they went live 5 mins late for me) and had a 2-3 week wait so cancelled. Ordered silver from Very and that got cancelled by them due to lack of stock.. ended up ordering at the £849 price from Amazon but they had no silver left so went with pacific blue.

I’m probably in the minority here but I feel like the new square design makes the phone feel way bigger than it is! Decided I’m going to just sell the 12 pro to make a little profit instead of keeping it, and stick with my 11 pro (if a 256gb 11 pro goes down to £900 or less somewhere I might upgrade to that as the main reason for upgrading after just a year was due to running out of space on my 64gb).

The changeover can take a few hours after you activate the e-SIM so add it in addition to your physical SIM data plan - and don’t remove your physical SIM data plan until the e-SIM one is active. Otherwise you could end up with no signal for a while until EE process the swap on their system.

I just did this in reverse yesterday.

Yes, got notified yesterday that the delivery will be done on the 26th, however it changed to today, today! I hope yours is coming today as well, I'll keep my 🤞 for you

Is there a time limit on this? I currently have an eSim on my X pro max but will be replacing it with the 12 Pro Max when that is released. Just wondering if I should order the new eSim and not wait to launch day to order

I missed the boat on ordering for delivery as I was thinking of getting a pro max but I’ve decided the pro is a better size for me.

Managed to get one for pickup from the Trafford Centre for Monday evening which I thought was bloody brilliant considering. Did have to check the app regularly before that popped up.

What are the chances they will give me the phone this evening if I try and collect it today instead of Monday evening!????

Has anyone got the “iPhone storage other data” problem on the new 12. Restored from iCloud backup and suddenly there is 40gb of “other’ data that was never there before. Any fixes guys?

Just checked after you mentioned and yes I have 42Gb of other. That’s after a whole night on charger sorting itself out.

Don’t say have to start again from fresh? I did a restore.
