So after sending my 256gb 11 pro off to envirofone I’ve just had an email to say there’s a software problem with front & rear cameras and they have reduced the offer from £575 to £146! I’m waiting on the person calling me back as he thinks it may be an error but has anyone else had any bad experiences?

That doesn't sound right to me. I'd tell them to send it back and go elsewhere to be honest.

Still enjoying the phone so far. Although i really wish Apple shipped at least a 90hz refresh display.

Will ditch the case once i find a suitable clear skin.

Kinda salty i missed out on the Amazon deal, and that i went with Music Magpie instead of reBuy for my re-sell. But oh well.

I’m yet to hear back from rebuy and it’s things like this that scare me but I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt. If I was you I’d have it returned back and sold elsewhere.

So 3 people tried my 12 pro today in work and all are now waiting to preorder the mini. This therefore is an accurate representation of the UK 😄

Yh it’s to small coming from a XS Max

I may be in the same boat .. 12 Pro arriving tomorrow and I SO want to love it and be able to read it just fine but I may end up needing the Max after all. I’ve been using the bigger screens every year from when they started the Plus etc

What the heck is going on with my UPS iPhone Pro 12 delivery? These are the updates I’ve received:

• Origin Scan
• The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release.
• Departed from Facility
• Arrived at Facility
• Your package is in transit. We're updating plans to schedule your delivery.
• Your package is in transit. We're updating plans to schedule your delivery. / The package will be forwarded to a UPS facility in the destination city.
• We've submitted documentation to a Government agency and are awaiting a response. / Brokerage released the package. It will be processed through a clearing agency before final release to UPS.

Hmmm sounds as though it’s not in the UK yet! .. they do move around a fair amount when they’re en route from China .. remember chasing down my new watch a few weeks back!

Currently debating between Xtremeskins or dbrand. Xtremeskins offer a clear skin but i dunno if its wet application. I'd rather not deal with wet application but waiting to hear from them.

Sold 10+ phones to them since 2015-ish and never once had an offer reduced, even sent some scratched up phones before and always got the original price.

Well I’ve just sent my XR off on it’s merry way to music magpie, they were offering more money for it than anyone else after using one of those recycling comparison sites when I locked my price in just over a week ago.
Lets hope they don’t mess me about on price.

Used xtremeskins years ago and they use 3m vinyl like dbrand.

Dry skins are ok i find. Wet skins are definitely a pain.

It’s a little confusing because they say “uncapped“ and then mention a cap... but even if it’s 600GB/month, that’s actually more than enough for me personally.

Right some updates for me. iPhone XS has been sent to Music Magpie and Royal Mail has confirmed delivery so waiting for MM to get back to me.

Now onto EE, I had an initial contract of £16 a month for 200GB, unlimited calls and texts which was initially £23 a month. Luckily I got that down to £16.

Spoke to them again today to add student discount code and somehow I managed to get that down to £10.20 a month! Bargain! 5G included as well and I managed to bag a pair of free BeatsX headphones. Just waiting for delivery for that.

Then thought let me get my brothers account down, he was paying £9 for 10gb data and unlimited texts and calls. Got that down to £5.20 which is brilliant for him as I can just gift him 50gb every month if needed. So essentially he’s paying peanuts for around 50gb a month.

All in all, a very successful morning from EE.

Oh and Hermes now has my Amazon iPhone which I paid £849 for that so waiting for delivery.

How did you get the free beats went back to live chat just they said this offer expired anyway.
I did get my 200gb down to £10.00 a month ask them to add my 5 pounds loyalty discount....

Shame really as BT mobile is actually unlimited 5G with no data caps and they own EE. I guess 600 is a huge amount for a phone and the only way you would go over is if you are either using it as a hotspot and streaming 4K instead of using broadband or running a crap ton of speed tests daily. still I hate that companies use ‘unlimited’ yet it actually isn’t.

Just sent an order for DPD to come tomorrow for my Xs max with rebuy. Are they any good as never heard before and has anyone had experience of them.

The 12 Pro max is only marginally larger than the 11 Pro Max but I get where you are coming from as a phone of that size with squared edges could be quite a handful. I am ordering the 12 Pro Max because of the larger screen estate but i do look enviously at the 12 Pro and wonder if i could manage with a smaller screen. The footprint of the 11 Pro Max with a case is massive and it will be bigger with the 12 Pro Max. Yesterday, I removed my leather apple case and went naked and my 11 Pro Max felt like a new phone. It was so much easier to hold and operate simply because it was less bulky.
I shall order the Pro Max and if its too much then i will visit my apple store and change it for the Pro.

I feel the same way. As much as I like the size of my 11 Pro Max and I like my display to be as big as possible within reason I do find it a bit cumbersome to use. However I was willing to put up with the pros because of the cons mainly the bigger battery and display. The better camera is not as important to me. I am concerned that the 12 Pro Max might be even more cumbersome but I’m going to give it a chance. Hopefully as it’s only slightly bigger then the 11 Pro Max it should be okay.

I’ve also had the bigger phones every year since the 6 Plus and have got use to having a bigger display. I use my phone a lot during the day as I can’t use my work internet for personal use plus I don’t have all my bookmarks, passwords etc. on my work PC. I’m hoping I’ll be okay with the 12 Pro Max as I currently have the 11 Pro Max.
