only in the first year. second year they do everything through the retailer. i know this first hand from my ipad pro. they will help you in the first year (apple store) but after that you need to go direct to John Lewis and they send it off to authorised repairers.
My problem with these insurance companies / repair centres, they don't use original parts. I did do an insurance claim with EE and they shipped me a white box refurb like Apple Store....pretty happy with that!

Has anyone got a contact number for DPD. They’ve messed up a delivery. Just got a message on tracking that states: Sorry, your parcel could not be delivered as we don't have the required contact name/number.
Apple state the details are on the package.

Cancelled my home fibre broadband using three 5G unlimited sim for 8 pounds a month.. lol
That's amazing. In my area I get less than 1Mb/s with Three... This was 2 years ago, I've ordered a free SIM from them to see if they've improved though not sure how much testing can be done with just 150Mb...

Track the package in the DPD app, then you can contact DPD about the package via call or chat on the tracking sheet page.

I had this with a pair of Sony's first gen wireless earbuds, where the battery significantly began degrading just after year 1.

If I'd have raised this with them during year 1, John Lewis would have simply swapped them out with a new retail boxed set from the shelf; they did this for me with a pair of Bose headphones that developed a fault a few months in.

The authorised repairer for the Sony earbuds ended up replacing the earbuds with new units, but did not replace the charging case. The repair bill came to significantly more than what it would have cost John Lewis to have simply issued me with a new pair! The repair also took so long (some 9 weeks) that they also ended up giving me £50 in gift cards as compensation! Ended up selling them straight after to CEX...

yep - my ipad pro 10.5 developed the white spot issue which is quite well known for that device. first year they will just give you a new one, second year they send it off. it took quite a while to get repaired but they gave me a brand new device which is good as the battery life over time isnt great on that device. I would say John Lewis generally will be good for your warranty it just may take longer if youre in second year.

Changing gears here slightly, did anyone see the deal on HUKD last week where Amazon Germany had the AirpodPro's for £160?

Never used any wireless Apple Airpods before but took the punt. Arrived yesterday, did all the fake checks and they are legit. Quite impressed with the sound

I use them, but the XM3s blow them out of the water.

I would not worry, They probably have loads due to people doing same timings. You will get an email when they have your phone and another later on confirming payment. My 1 st email was received around 11am and the 2nd at 9pm showing payment into my bank account
Appreciate that, thank you 😊

Did you get a tracking code?

My phone was collected by DPD yesterday but I realised after they’d left that I didn’t get a tracking code...
Did they not give you a bit of paper ? The parcel number may be the same as on the original email from reBuy/DPD. I am sure it can be traced back.

Google DPD should be some phone numbers
Customer service: 0121 275 0500
Panic over. Thanks for this number, DPD were super helpful. Turns out Apple didn’t enter the mobile number correctly on the package and new driver couldn’t locate my house and therefore couldn’t call me either. All sorted and he’s just been back with my iPhone! So my 2nd November delivery arrived today! Happy Days! Thank you.
