I was going back and forth when the phones were announced between silver and graphite, but then the hands on videos were out and the pacific blue sold me. The plum silicone case on pacific blue just looks perfect to me.
Yeah, I reckon the Pacific blue with the plum silicone case looks great.

If you are waiting to order for the Max, where will you order from?

Apple or Amazon? :)

Going to pre-order from Apple but will keep a beady eye on those Amazon prices!

If I miss an early delivery time slot with Apple, I'll buy directly from John Lewis on launch day.

Direct from Apple, I want launch day delivery but I can accept a few days later, if I can't get launch day I'll keep an eye on Apple stores and see if I can pick up anywhere.

re comments on the colours, pre the event i said i was going to go with the white this year as I've really envied the pure white colour of the iphone 11 from last year, looked very nice. however Blue being on the cards was my number 1 pick and the pacific blue although it changes colour quite a lot in different lighting i think will look very nice once you actually have it in your hands.

I'm going to go blue pro max and I will accept my fate that the model will probably go out of stock quickest

John Lewis.
They did me proud, best advise is to get your configuration and any accessories in your wish list.

Pay in the app and use Apple Pay, you will Authenticate it there and then so banks are less likely to step in.

Of course you don’t have to do that, but I managed to get my 256GB silver config (you can’t get at all in some shops) for the next working day all because my payment was done and completed within 1 minute of launch (Money taken 8:01). I will definitely br recommending JL in the future!

I suspect we might see quite a few dispatch’s later on this evening for delivery tomorrow. Unfortunately, mine will not be amongst them. Watch this space.

What kind of packaging do you get to put your phone in. Does the DPD driver bring packaging with them or do you get packaging before and then you arrange collection ?
The DPD driver turned up as if he was delivering a normal package - I got a tracking link and an hour's delivery window. He said that he usually delivers a new phone when there's one to pick up, but all he had was a plastic bag addressed to me, which he opened up and inside there was packaging to return the phone in, and a new outer mailing bag.

I handed him my phone, he took photos of it on his handheld scanner thing, packaged it all up and sealed the return envelope in front of me, and off he went.

Was all really easy - much easier than using Music Magpie and having to package yourself etc. I was also reassured that the DPD driver took photos of the phone upon receipt to confirm that it was undamaged when I handed it to them.

Only slight issue was that I remembered after he'd left that I hadn't received a receipt nor a tracking number for the return parcel to rebuy, but they received it this morning so all is well!

When the Pro orders went up, Silver was the first to go out of stock! Blue had quite a few (Apple probably made loads of them?) fingers crossed they’ll do the same with the Max...

Brilliant. I have just locked in price my 11 pro till 8th Nov. I might just put mine in original box and put in the bag once he done taking pics. I know there are positive reviews than negative review on trust pilot but they freaked me out lol. What condition did you choose. Tbh im an ocd freak and my device is got zero damage not even a minor scratch (tested under car detailer's light) so i picked like new but i dont know if that is the correct condition for them.

Having issues backing up my whatsapp conversations. Keeps getting stuck at 1%. Anybody got any tips? would ideally want to transfer all my messages if I can.

My DPD Driver also had a reBuy box inside the packing, which he placed the phone in.

Did you choose like new condition ?
On that compare website I am sure I selected "Working". As "New" tab which it now shows , was not there. Rechecked on the reBuy website when I realised they had one later and it was the max price that their site was buying at the time. £367 iPhone X 256GB
