Same - we shall see what happens next.Interestingly my app just changed - and no longer shows the "we will send you 2 reminders" at bottom of page, but now just a disabled 'Buy' button. Wonder if the pre-approval process is incoming. Fingers crossed!!
Still no info on extended returns from Apple? Buying a mini for Christmas present but want a return/exchange option in case they want a different colour or a regular 12 (if they pay the difference themselves)
If they adopt the same approach as they did in the first lockdown you’ll be ok until the stores reopen. This could be January because I have a sneaking suspicion that the 2nd December will just see an extension of lockdown. Hopefully not.I will be applying for a return on my Pro on 5th Nov so be interesting how’s it’s returned coz it was a store pick up
Ooh, there's movement on the way.Same - we shall see what happens next.
Normally I'd agree, but Apple are offering £550 for my 11 Pro which is more than the usual resale sites, even with the extra voucher money at Music Magpie.Par for the course. Apple’s trade in prices are rock bottom. An insult really.
That’s very interesting and quite surprising in fact.Normally I'd agree, but Apple are offering £550 for my 11 Pro which is more than the usual resale sites, even with the extra voucher money at Music Magpie.
They gave the highest quote for my trade-in too. Was surprised to be honest. That’s very interesting and quite surprising in fact.
Yes you can. Not sure what difference it makes in reality though.Ooh, there's movement on the way.
Anyone know if you wanted to pay for the device in full if you could save it as a favourite before the store went down like you could if you'd applied for finance?
You can do - and then just click on it straight away as soon as you get into the app store on Friday.Anyone know if you wanted to pay for the device in full if you could save it as a favourite before the store went down like you could if you'd applied for finance?
That’s what I thought too but it didn’t work that way for me with the 12 Pro orders. It took me several minutes to get onto the App and then I had to go through the configuration process. You can do - and then just click on it straight away as soon as you get into the app store on Friday.
Ah, ok. I was hoping that you could save the config and then just click on it to order when pre-orders go live. Save some valuable seconds and increase the chances of a launch day handset. That’s what I thought too but it didn’t work that way for me with the 12 Pro orders. I think you can to be fair. I must have just done it wrong last time. Doh!Ah, ok. I was hoping that you could save the config and then just click on it to order when pre-orders go live. Save some valuable seconds and increase the chances of a launch day handset.
Thats not good. My phone is mint. DPD pick it up tomorrow to deliver to Rebuy. I will photograph it as its being packaged and challenge them if they said its scratched.Update on my dealings with ReBuy.
it was picked up by DPD on Friday. ReBuy notified me this morning that they’d got it and now I’ve just received notice from them that they don’t agree with my assessment of “Like New”. As follows:
My eyes must be defective because I honestly couldn’t see ANY scratches at all.
Action Required. Your order (*******) has now been assessed and unfortunately it does not meet our quality standards. Our engineers have found the following problem with your device: The screen, frame and back cover are noticeably scratched.
Not to worry, we can still purchase your device - please see the revised value below:
iPhone X 256GB
£367.00
Revised offer:
£335.00
Oh well, I’m not too bothered as it’s still £5 more than MusicMagpie offered so I’ve accepted the revised offer.
Same for my iPhone 11, £400 on Apple and £390 with MM. £350 with RebuyThey gave the highest quote for my trade-in too. Was surprised to be honest.
I saved my max as a favourite before the standard pros went on sale.Ooh, there's movement on the way.
Anyone know if you wanted to pay for the device in full if you could save it as a favourite before the store went down like you could if you'd applied for finance?
No I dont think you can. I have a phone saved as a favourite but the purchase process will still be as laborious. It would be useful if we could set everything on as a pre-order page and hit the 'Buy' button on fridayAh, ok. I was hoping that you could save the config and then just click on it to order when pre-orders go live. Save some valuable seconds and increase the chances of a launch day handset.
How do you do that?I saved my max as a favourite before the standard pros went on sale.
I photographed mine. Looked ok to me but I’m not going to quibble over £32.Thats not good. My phone is mint. DPD pick it up tomorrow to deliver to Rebuy. I will photograph it as its being packaged and challenge them if they said its scratched.
This is the attention to detail we appreciate on this forum 😁Interestingly my app just changed - and no longer shows the "we will send you 2 reminders" at bottom of page, but now just a disabled 'Buy' button. Wonder if the pre-approval process is incoming. Fingers crossed!!
Yep that looks good to me. Obviously they are scamming people but as you say £32 isn't too badI photographed mine. Looked ok to me but I’m not going to quibble over £32.
Press the ‘❤️‘ symbol at the top right of the page on the Apple Store app once you’ve chosen. How do you do that?
