Too many Apple products too list in this little box any longer.
Also an MSI gaming laptop (running Arch BTW).
Referring to your signature, I've installed Linux on my MSI Gaming laptop but the colours are really washed out and the fans seem to get noisy quite quickly. Do you have the same issues?

Apologies, very off topic here.... 😂

Mines all approved. No issues with the process at all. I will pay it off within few months anyway. Just need the ££ for a new PC build (ryzen3, rtx 3080 etc).

Does anybody else here use vivup I can see I get 8% discount on Curry’s vouchers so £96 on £1100
but it states max £500 vouchers I’m wondering if I can buy 3 times to get my discount ,then my plan is to go through complete savings for another 10% cashback hopefully from curry’s for the pro max
We get the 8% off Currys from work so I would be looking at a discount of £96 on the 256GB on the pro max.

However, with the covid situation impacting supplies and Curry's poor rate of fulfilling orders, I am not going to risk it. The problem with the Currys deal is you have to convert the funds to evouchers beforehand and if Currys don't have the stock you are then stuck with £1200 non-refundable Curry vouchers which for me would be useless as I am not looking to buy anything else from them.

I'll cut my loses and take the work 10% off accessories from The Apple store on a leather case instead

Yeah I am on the same scheme at work and we get the same discount with Currys plus Argos and John Lewis etc but as you say it’s just too risky. I do get good discount at Apple stores and Apple online for accessories and Apple hardware such as watches but sadly not the latest phones but never the less I’ve saved quite a bit over the years

Anyone who bought their iPhone from Amazon on launch day (Oct 23rd), do you know if they allowed you to split the payments into 5/6 .etc?

same. i did this one year put £700 into JL vouchers for the new ipad, and was waiting a good month to get it due to stock limitations. wont be doing that again. Also if its the same company as mine, sometimes you can only offer a certain amount of currys per day now.

If its the same as my wife’s which it sounds like it is, I’ll be straight on to it after ordering my phone direct with Apple, to get a case. I was going to get a home pod mini using it too as after the announcement they had a 6% discount applied as per the full size home pod, but unfortunately they seem to have it at full price again now. I guess as its a brand new product. Oh well, still nice to get the odd bit of money off every so often.

To answer my own posts from earlier ....... I did a second application for my wife’s phone (after she was declined) and it was approved. The app now shows both approvals on the ‘For You’ tab. So clearly it is possible to have multiple pre-order approvals! Just hope there isn’t any unknown drama on Friday resulting from this!!!

On Friday do we simply open up the pre approval from that link? Someone before was talking about setting a favourite but I can’t see why that would be needed if pre-order approval link is already there??

So when I opened the app at 1pm I got the usual store closed message. My routine is to then force close the store app abs open again. About 3 minutes of doing this, the store app finally ‘opened’ and I was taken straight to a page to compete my pre approved order. Wasn’t even a need to click on a link.

Just went in and confirmed colour etc and then selected collect in store and that was it. All done by and email confirmation at 13.03

No limits as far as i have known. I spent 2k last year using vouchers and got the vouchers for £160 less

Ahh annoying! Had also seen the HomePod mini discount and yes it’s back to full price now! May wait a few months now as it drop soon enough

I bought a 20w charger and a magsafe charger last week through the Apple Employee website which i access via a rewards website. Paid 34.80 for the magsafe and £16.80 for the 20w charger. Planning to use it to get a HomePod mini this week but the price hasn't been reduced

Totally missed the event announcement next week

There better be some airtags in there!

Hmm a silicon 13” MBP..... given my current 13” one is just over a year old I won’t get anywhere near the amount I dropped on it if I sell

New iPhone Pro.... new car..... new silicon MacBook?? maybe pushing my luck?
