I reminisced of these times the night before buying the 12 Pro! The storage capacity is the insane difference, I remember waiting and paying extra for 32GB!You maybe going back to 3GS days.
iPhone 4 onwards was preorder. Preorder opened on 15th June 2010 with delivery on 24th June. Preorders have since shifted to a Friday.
Look at these prices for launch day. Frightening how much they cost now.

My iPhone 12 Pro PB which was ordered on Friday 23rd October in the evening and had an arrive on the 16th November moved to preparing for shipping in the early hours of the morning.
Anyone that has ordered direct with Apple this gen, have they stayed for a few days at this stage? My MagSafe was at preparing for just short of 48 hours before it shipped yesterday.

I ordered the 12 Pro on the 23rd too. Went to preparing to ship on Tuesday and shipped yesterday. It is out for delivery today.
Would expect yours to be shipped today with delivery on Saturday or Monday.
Could be 2 or 3 days at PFS. When they take the money you can be assured that dispatch is imminent.
Please kindly refrain from hitting the refresh button in a maniacal way with the rest of us!!

I have to confess to feeling nervous myself.
I was the same but now on the fence whether to go for 128GB + iCloud or the full fat 256GB

Oh that it will. Thankfully although I've had to close my business down for a month to clients coming in, I've still got a lot of things to do from home. That'll keep me busy.

The presenter's closing comment on that video made me laugh given the thread that we’re reading, essentially her comment was - don’t buy the Pro Max until you’ve read our full review so you can see how this thing will behave in the real world. So, is everyone here planning to follow that advice and wait a few days to read the full Engadget review before ordering?
