I’m wondering now if I’ll get a better deal selling my 128gb iPhone 12 on Fleabay rather than sending it in to Argos for that ‘estimated’ £519?!

I guess I could stick it on Fleabay for 5 days and see what price it fetches and then send it off….

I'm thinking of changing my colour last minute, from blue to the silver.......
Ive always purchased the silver/white handsets previously - I feel the colours don't look as 'classy' and 'business-like'. Hence may get the white/silver and colour up a case instead, which can be easily changed as and when!!

Hopefully I get to the chance to change the colour without having to go through all the finance stuff again....

I’m pretty sure you can sell it for 1/3/5 days or longer…

Applecare+ doesn't cover scratches/dings that are considered wear and tear tho.

That’s okay - I don’t get those either. To be fair, I have started using a screen protector on since the flat edge makes it look like it’s basically not there. But yeah, don’t need a case. Adds bulk and takes away dramatically from the design.

Yeah I've been put off selling anything expensive on eBay. Sold a MacBook Pro last year, buyer (high feedback, turns out the account was hacked) claimed I'd sent him an empty box and immediately escalated to PayPal. Got receipts from Royal Mail, asked them what the weight was in transit, and luckily the case was decided in my favour, but it was 3 or 4 weeks of stress.

It's only a small minority of buyers, but was enough to put me off. AVForums, MacRumors or recycling sites only from now on. Losing out on £100 or so is worth it for my sanity.

I’ve just had a look on Fleabay and the prices for a 128 gb unlocked iPhone 12 START at the £500 mark, which means I‘ll get significantly higher on there than the £519 Argos are offering!

I may go down this road now and keep the Argos deal as a back up seeing that its valid for 21 days!

I'm afraid you'll have to go through all the finance again. Why not order what you have already set up and then do another order. See what date you get and then you can always cancel the first order?
