Mine didn’t come through either. You can however download it from your order history. It’s the same pdf they would‘ve attached to the email. QR code within it. Choose the option to download pack and send guide on the selling tab
Just had a thought...

did you not recieve the QR code email but still post off, and did the confirmation email that it had been sent/recieved come through okay?

Just worried that if my QR email doesn't come through and I post it off then my confirmation email won't come also..

I have no idea what I'll do on Friday - I work a 5 min walk away from home - so when the doorbell rings I'm gonna have to ask the delivery guy to wait while I run home!!!! lol
Surely there’s no way he’s going to wait 5 minutes for you to come back?

Correct. The initial email with the QR code never came through. Just opened the pdf on my burner phone and the PO scanned the QR code. Got the email thanking me for dropping off after a few hours and all the subsequent email updates came through fine

I quite fancy moving to an eSIM.

I don’t really know why, just…
because!
Same here. I very nearly activated the eSim via EE last night onto my 12 Pro but stopped when I reached the download message. I’ll possibly wait and use it on my 13 Pro but I don’t know why as it offers nothing different to my nano sim. Something new and different to try would be my only reason.

Please update us on how that goes 😂

You will be their new best friend. 😉

Shiny shiny new things is a good enough reason!

How much new and different do you want a SIM to be!!
Its interesting initially when setting it up and not having a physical SIM there but then it becomes normal and just a data module.

I normally get my iPhone from EE but this year I decided to get it direct from Apple - I spent about an hour and a half trying to get the order to go through at 1 pm - during which time my order slipped to 4th - 11th October.

Based on previous experiences of pre-ordering, has anyone seen their phone come earlier than a delivery date like mine in the past for launch phones (and if so, how much earlier)? Thanks 😊

Apple do usually over estimate with their dates so it's likely the date could improve by a week or so.

Whoa the moment I just found out my new iPhone will be way better than my bloody MacBook Pro... thats only 60hz wtffffff

Yeah that’s exactly what I mean. I’m not expecting anything new and exciting other than the setup process which is why I’m not convinced I even need to bother other than to do things a little differently. It’s appealing but for no real reason.

I wanted it because I wanted to move my work sim from a separate phone so only need one phone.

Couple of e-sim questions from me:

Do they work exactly the same as a real sim once activated? Can you travel abroad etc roaming all the same? All features like wifi calling and visual voicemail work too?

And secondly, if you order a e-sim for the first time, do they have to post you a pack? or can you do the download? Trying to figure out how best to use e-sim for the new phone.. I guess it's not worth activating on my current 11 as I'd have to pay another 50p to move it on Friday to the 13?

My advice, if you have two numbers I.e work and personal (like me)the duel sim phones are great. But if you have just the one number I would stick with the physical sim, so much more convenient, at least you can swap it about if you need to.

I like esim and EE have made it considerably easier to move to different phones by using the app and downloading a qcode.

The problem for six months on EE is that it's a carrier locked phone, so unless you have an additional EE SIM, your iPhone is basically single SIM.

This is one of the biggest annoyances which will be solved in December when they will be forced to provide unlocked phones. I will have to wait until March to put my three SIM in to get dual function.

agreed! Always fancied it but was unsure of the process.
No need to bother EE, all done within the EE app. like I say dead easy, took me 30 seconds, was quicker than moving the physical SIM!!
I wonder what the process is if you don’t have your phone like that? Are you stuffed. What if you’ve had it replaced under warranty and you forget it’s an ESim. (Something I’d do) 😂
