The search bar can be moved back to the top of the page in iOS 15 settings if that’s what you mean.

That search bar just looks ridiculous at the bottom - I’ve never known ANY search bar to be at the bottom?!!!

Thanks! They seem to take loads of devices, even my Mac mini 2018. A nice backup to have. Is it all very easy? I've heard horror stories with trade-in places in the past, e.g. sending in a pristine device and it being returned in awful condition (parts possibly swapped, etc) or receiving a very low amount despite sending in a like new device.

No. Music Magpie are spot on. If you send in a good device they will pay you the amount they quoted.

If I send my 12 pro back to MM on Thur, what's the best way to handle the watch not being connected? If I unpair it, the watch won't work at all, so should I just leave it or will that make it hard to pair to my new phone on Fri?

(Basically, how to I keep my 1442 days move streak!)

Are you at the limit of the last day you can return your phone? You really want to do a direct transfer. If you can’t then when you unpair the watch a backup is automatically taken and is stored in iCloud if you take a backup after unpairing. When you get your new phone you should be able to restore and then restore the watch. The watch is a paperweight with straps until you re-pair it.

Yep. It's taking a bit of getting used to but when I remember that it's there is so much easier to use with one hand.

Make web browsing very easy for the Max phones. You don't need reachability anymore. Very good decision from Apple.

Thanks. It needs to be back with MM by Tue to get a much higher value than they are offering right now, or I go with Argos and hope for the best. I do trust MM, never had any issues with them

It’s surprising at first but I guess it just takes a little getting used to. I switched back to the ‘classic’ look on my iPhone 11 and will give the new positioning a try when the PM gets here.

I forgot Safari on iOS had the address bar at the bottom.... God dammit. Will try it for a few days and see how I get on.

Edit: swiping between tabs is awesome. Shame the feature doesn't work when when the address bar is up top.

Frustrating thing about living in the Highlands is that if I lived anywhere else I would probably get my phone on Friday but I will have to wait until Monday unless by some miracle it arrives in Glasgow on Thursday night.

My experience usually means it starts making its way north on Thursday and then gets scanned in Linwood at 0630 which is about 30 minutes after the trucker comes to Fort William!

Nobodys fault at all just a bit annoying that it is probably sitting somewhere just now and could easily move to Glasgow half a day earlier.

Could get lucky though!

I know the feeling… we are classed as Highlands and Islands 30miles west of Aberdeen, luckily work in the city so can get it delivered on Friday but even then the DPD truck doesn’t scan in Aberdeen till about 1pm usually 😂
