Apparently available from 8am Friday for collection why not for delivery god knows everyone else can deliver except ArgosI believe so, although how many they will get I would have no idea. If my memory serves me right I believe they were added on release day before for collection.
But please don’t hold me to that! Halfway though night shift and my brain is fried!
I'd take it! UPS or whomever they tend to use, always deliver to me late afternoon.
ps. Like many, CC got charged late last night.
Slightly off-topic but I installed all the latest available OS updates for my 12 Pro Max, Apple Watch and AppleTV.
iOS15 feels very polished and slick - leagues ahead of the hot mess that was iOS13 the launch.
watchOS8 is great and also feels slick. Went for a run this morning and Siri announcing your mile splits into AirPods is spot on.
AppleTV. Couldn't detect much that had changed and didn't get a chance to test out Spatial Audio, but it's positive that I couldn't see any regressions in usability.

The Nike Run Club app on Apple Watch already does this (pre Watch OS8) and is SOOOO much better at tracking runs than the standard Apple Fitness running app with Siri......
So many factors to consider like sim free vs contract, finance vs pay-in-full. If having the newest tech is important to you then every year it will cost c. £300-£400 (c.£30 p/m) to upgrade annually and re-sell 12 month old tech. Then you need a burner as well to use for 2-3 weeks!
If you want the most value out of it then keep it for 7-10 years if it holds up!
Spoke with Argos yesterday to complain about the jiffy bag they sent for the posting of my IPhone. The IPhone would have zero protection and would no doubt be delivered damaged. I was also told that the free postage does not cover the cost of the phone if damaged or lost, so they advised that at my expense that I pay for next day delivery with insurance for the cost of the phone.
They’ll likely get to MM today given it’s tracked 48h delivery. Probably processed tomorrow. Should be fine by the end of the week

Looking forward on the reviews being released. I’ve got an iUP reservation on a 13 Pro, currently on a 12 Pro. More inclined to upgrade that not - the key will be if ProMotion makes enough of a difference over the non-PM 12 Pro. I love the feature on my iPad Pro but I’ve not ever felt that the non-PM iPHone displays since the X have been a ‘problem’. If it makes next to no difference, I’ll cancel. If it is an improvement, the reservation stands and a trip to Apple Trafford Centre on Friday will ensure.
