Nice. welcome from the other side of the pond. I hope you guys are having a lot of fun tracking your devices. We don’t have that luxury here as ours are already in the country

I wasn’t sure about the search/address bar being at the bottom of the screen in Safari but I’ve gradually gotten used to it over the past week. Several times I’d tap the top of the screen and annoyingly send the website scrolling back to the top.

I’ve just had a dispatch notification from Apple for my clear MagSafe 13PM case 😊

The subject line was just “Dispatch Notification [order ref]”, and as I’d temporarily forgotten about the case, it did cause a mini flicker of excitement, before the realisation kicked in.

I’m back at work tomorrow after a week-and-a-bit off… it’s going to feel like a long slog before Friday! 😂😢🤔

It backs ups your device but tells you that you'll get free extra iCloud storage for the backup for the next 21 days at which point you can request an extension if you haven't received your device, I did it the other day after forgetting them saying it in the keynote back in June!

Anyway after telling myself last year I won't upgrade again after buying my 12PM for the next few years here I am having pre-ordered a US 13PM purely for better battery and mmWave 5G

I quite like the search bar at the bottom saves me nearly dropping my device when going caseless and single handed use!

does anyone know if Argos will have iphone 13’s launch day?
It says coming soon but that’s it on the website

I believe so, although how many they will get I would have no idea. If my memory serves me right I believe they were added on release day before for collection.

But please don’t hold me to that! Halfway though night shift and my brain is fried!

Aha that was my issue. That’s why I bought a new one on Amazon on pay over 5 months. And sent mine back at the weekend. I’ll return the Amazon one at the weekend.

Yep this is because the switch only came in in Beta 5 or Beta 6 after a lot of complaining from testers. By beta 5 or 6 the software internally is nearly at GM release. So all they could do was add a toggle to bring it back. They didn’t have time to put the same features into the top bar as in the bottom bar. Whether they e tu ally vuole that out further is anyones guess.

If it need to be there by Tuesday, I’d get it moving to MM ASAP
