Phone to phone transfer is so much better, most of your settings are maintained. I have done this in the past, cloud setup vs phone to phone, and phone to phone transfer is so much better.
I have my offer with Fone Wizard until 28 Sep as well, so I am holding out until I can switch them over on 24 Sep.

Undecided the route to take, is it easy enough to call Barclays and pay the loan off, I’ve locked in £630 with MM.

I always set up fresh. Everything is saved on iCloud and 1Password.
I've booked Friday off work so i'd need to send it Thursday the latest - I don't want to get caught out by any slow processing times once it gets delivered though either which is why i'm now considering Wednesday lol
Me too. I don't know why, but I love having to set everything up again on the new phone. My wife thinks I'm weird...

For me its an Apple thing lol. I like it engrossed in tech for few hours and sometime might even change set up from last device and try different layout.
Best part is going through your purchase history and hiding apps you shouldn't have downloaded lol

...I don't understand why anyone would choose to start afresh vs a restore, personally?!!
Starting afresh means setting up multiple email accounts from scratch and all associated settings - the same goes for all other app like social media, games, + any others and redownloading all these apps all over again, setting up homescreens and shortcuts, the list is endless.......??!!!!!!

At least with doing a restore, you don't need to set all this up again.
They really are. I had all sorts of worries this year as the phone was financed etc but it’s all fine and I’ve got the money so roll on Friday.
my 12 pro is pristine condition so they’ll sell it for a lot. Also I sent it in the retail box with unopened wire

Really glad I locked in the £500 for my 11 Pro Max 256 with MM on 13/09 ... means I can hopefully not suffer the stress of others.... pick up my 13 Pro Max on 24/09 and have 10 days to ship it and them receive it
I've spent too long in lockdown getting all my apps just how want them tailored into specific folders etc. to do a full new restart this year with the 13.

Armorite screen protectors finally arrived from China. Thankfully they match the pics posted previously. Bargain at £10.79. Was getting a little anxious they might not make it in time though.
