Im getting little concerned about the finance bit too. Mine is contract iPhone which I paid in full on Friday. Finger crossed it doesnt get flagged on chekmend report even though EE's contract T&C says i can sell the device after 6 months into contract.
 
I'm a bit worried about the Authenticator app. I've got it set up to back up to the iCloud, so does that mean I need to do an iCloud transfer, rather than phone to phone transfer?

I use Authenticator to log into my work desktop, so I need that to be working correctly. :)

You can do either.

When you open the app on your new device it will ask for the backup password as all your accounts will still be encrypted.

So make sure you know your password!

Otterbox Aneu Series - Light blue The ring on the back is just the design of the case. There’s a magnetic strip inside like previous versions. Not sure if the bottom sags like others have mentioned. It’s certainly not as stiff as the apple silicone. Will test it out when the new phone comes on...

Yeah mine was pristine too although I just posted well packaged without retail box/type C lead. Their sell mark up is high on pristine examples but we locked in decent prices so that is the game!

Actually it was the first time my 12PM screen had seen fresh air as I install a screen protector direct from box opening.

Should all be fine, I'm just impatient waiting until they pay out!

Same with the screen protector. Don’t we know how to treat our babies well 🤣

I need a clean start as my home screen is a mess... 7 screens used of apps that really need removing or grouping and positioning. I'be not really used any widgets on home screen either so wouldn't mind playing with the layout.

FFS.. I have barbie dream house adventures, 'shoe race' and rob lox on my phone!! (clearly not mine... :rolleyes: )

Starting afresh means setting up multiple email accounts from scratch and all associated settings - the same goes for all other app like social media, games, + any others and redownloading all these apps all over again, setting up homescreens and shortcuts, the list is endless.......??!!!!!!

Definitely don't need all this added stress...!!!!!

At least with doing a restore, you don't need to set all this up again.

I've a potted history when it comes to upgrading OS's, virtual appliances compared to starting a fresh... maybe not in Apple's case, but things never work as you expect them to in the world of IT
