I still get 1.5 days battery out of it and its not slow at all.

I might see how late they leave it to release. If its December time id probably just stick with the S4 assuming they'd release the S8 in their normal October timeframe next year

Funnily I ordered from Apple on Monday, it was £4.99 for Wednesday delivery or free for Thursday, I chose the free option and it is still arriving today...

I like it - Midnight definitely looks blacker in the photos than on the Apple website.

Planning on upgrading from my S4

I could easily wait another year for the S8 but noticed I can get £100+ for my S4 (wasn't planning on selling it as I thought it would be worth nothing) so I may aswell

The S4 is one of the best ones I think!!!

I have the Space Black Stainless Steel 44mm and its a beauty - the S7 isn't worth an upgrade even from the S4 IMHO. Same design and marginally better screen and battery doesn't entice me to update (not interested in the always on screen neither - its a pointless 'feature'!!!)

I wear my watch to bed to track sleep (from 11pm til 6:30am) and then I wear it til around 10am and then take it off and back on the charger (after a 30 minute workout). Then back on til around 5pm and it goes back on the charger again until bed time. Battery lasts forever for my use.....!!!!

Completely agree, im surprised they dont still sell it. Its on par with if not better than the SE, probably better actually as you get the ECG also on the S4

I know there's nothing beneficial about getting an S7, its more of a want to upgrade as ive had the S4 for 3 years now

Same with the iPhone, I dont need to upgrade from the 12 Pro to a 13 Pro because there's no new features that will change my day to day life in anyway, but here we are! 😅😅

I don’t think i’ll risk upgrading to watch os 8 tbh. Will probably kill my otherwise smooth S4. And i’m sure as hell not touching Mac OS Monterey for at least 9-12 months When hopefully (but probably not) all the bugs are fixed.

Just received my Argos Trade In pack and the Jiffy bag is very very small. I'll just buy my own and send it Special Delivery like I usually do when trading in.

Starting to doubt whether I ordered an envelope from them at all now as nothing has arrived yet, but from posts like these it sounds like I'll be using the original Apple box it came in with the John Lewis outer box + RM Special Delivery anyway. They're going to waist deep in used iPhones by 1PM on Saturday ...

I expect there isn't much Argos trade-in feedback yet as people will be holding onto their old phones until the new one has arrived - it's a good long window & there's an option to extend the quote for another 7 days on the website.

Anyone had any movement from an order with Curry’s? I get 10% off with vouchers through work so ordered for myself and my brother on launch day 2x iPhone 13 Pro Max 128GB’s in Graphite - had order confirmation suggesting Thursday delivery (obviously incorrect) but nothing since and account just says order confirmed.

More worryingly I’ve since checked the product page and it states only 1 order is permitted per account - due to demand, exceeding this will mean your order is cancelled. This definitely wasn’t showing when I ordered Friday so hopefully this has only come into effect from a certain date and time!

Received my Apple case yesterday went with the MagSafe clear version but not very impressed! Very slippy to hold and nothing special especially for £49, think I’ll be returning and ordering a Speigen or similar for half the price!

I did the phone to phone transfer though a few days ago with no issues, wear the watch throughout the process, it takes abit longer and you can't use the phone while its completing but I had no issues so will be doing this again

It prompts you at some point if you want to use the watch with the new phone (at this point im guessing its paired with both devices) and then it just carries on with the transfer. Take note my achievements didn't transfer over for another day but then they just appeared

I never unpaired my watch once from the old phone, the transfer finished and then I just did the usual turn off find my and sign out of iCloud to get the phone ready to send off to MM
