Arghh keep going back and forth on whether to buy a 13 Mini or not.

Sold my 12 Mini a few days ago as there will be a usual influx of people selling in the next few weeks and prices will drop so like some of you decided to take the plunge now.

Going to wait an see what gets announced next Tuesday.

If the 13 Mini is just as per the leaks/rumours and nothing exciting or unexpected gets announced feature-wise then I'm going to pick up a cheap 12 Mini again for probably around what I sold mine for (£410 for a 64GB). If it does have something new or appealing we don't know about AND the pricing hasn't changed, then I'll go for a 13 Mini.

First world indecisions.

Remember last year when Amazon UK had pre-orders available for the 12 Pro/Pro Max with substantial discounts, hundreds of pounds off and people were wondering whether Amazon would cancel their orders (they ended up honouring the discounted prices). Anyone taking that gamble this year if the same happens?

How long does payment take from sending the device? Is it 2-3 days?

On the MM website it states the following after they've 'processed' it rather than receiving the iPhone:

21.3 Subject to condition 21.4, Bank Transfer or PayPal will be processed on completion of the Quality Assessment process for all of the Items in your order on Working Days only and typically clear within 24 hours, subject to the Quality Assessment having been completed before 2pm on that Working Day. For the avoidance of doubt, if the Quality Assessment process is completed after 2pm on a Working Day or on a Saturday or Sunday, Bank Transfer or PayPal will be processed on the next Working Day and typically clears within 24 hours. SmartDROP Kiosk payments will be made on the same day the phone is processed (please allow up to 20 minutes after using the Kiosk for payment to appear).

Yeah I think it was actually a pricing glitch / error as opposed to a discount on those pre-orders. A few lucky ones on here took full advantage of it. I would definitely take the gamble this year but would Amazon make that same mistake twice!

I can imagine Jeff Bezos gave those Amazon employees responsible a special one-way ticket to space in his rocket!

Nah Amazon definitely fired that guy who made the mistake

Apparently he ended up at Argos. However, he was let go back in May after pricing up all the new iPad Pros at £800. Wonder where he is now (just in case) 🤔
And sadly, Argos only honoured a few of those orders, literally a handful as far as I am aware. For an hour or two I thought my luck was in. Then I got an email suggesting, quite wrongly, that I had cancelled the order.

Yeah, it was a shame. Did you ever receive a proper apology/anything in the form of compensation? I’m guessing not, given it’s Argos. Thankfully I was there at 9am sharp

Cheers, locked in at £740, will be dropping off at the post office tomorrow. What’s this smark kiosk thingy being talked about?

One of the biggest reasons I held off on getting the Mini last year was because of reports of lackluster battery life, and because I don't particularly like upgrading every year.

I totally regret getting the Pro Max due to its large size and I'm glad that Apple is giving the Mini one more chance, so I'm definitely grabbing this one before its gone.

Also, I could not imagine Apple not giving it some sort of nice upgrade. I did hear rumors of Apple giving it a battery capacity upgrade.
