I’m in two minds about weather to get the 13 pro or 13 pro max. I have the the 12 pro max currently and I love the size, but my concern is that the 13 pro max is going to be heavier. I’m not sure I could deal with a heavier device, as the 12 pro max is already pretty heavy.

Help. Yesterday I sent off my 12 pro max to MM. I did a factory reset via iTunes but…,I did not sign out of iCloud. Does resetting sign you out? I got to the Hello page?

Why are you all sending in so early? You have 14 days. Why lose at least 10-12days of usage?

Have an Xr to use and thought I’d get in early. Give me the money!
I secured 705 today for a 12 pro max 128gb. Actually, do I have 21 days to send? That’s perfect timing if 13 pro max drops on the 24th

was anyone able to secure more ? Wonder would I could have got earlier this week?

also secured £242 for a series 6 44m alum gps watch

I had got the 12 pro max last year too and since sending mine in and using an SE the smaller size is actually alright so I think I’m going to get just the regular 13 pro this year. Unless there’s a big difference between the new pro and pro max.

So sounds like hardly nobody is going down the route of iUP this year then ?!!!
I'm probably going to take advantage again of the 24 month interest-free option from Apple and Barclays.

I pay off the outstanding balance on my current iPhone 12 Pro Max with Barclays - around £380 - then I trade it in against the cost of the new 13 Pro Max. Apple and Barclays take the trade in value off the cost of the 13 Pro Max, thus bringing the monthly repayments right down. I'm currently only paying £25.79 each month and bought AppleCare+ outright, which I'll also be due a partial refund on.

What I don't like about the iPhone Upgrade and iPhone Payments plans is they're spread across 20 months and there's no way to bring the monthly repayments down by paying extra each month - this only brings your payment end date forward. There's no option to pay a deposit either, which the 24 month interest-free plan above does by treating my trade-in phone as a deposit.

I thought with the iUP you do have to pay a deposit of £69 up front when you take up the plan in-store.

With the Barclays interest free option (which is what I am on now with my iPhone 12), they don't ask for a deposit (I think....!!!).

Anyone on EE annual upgrade, I’ve messaged EE to make sure we can upgrade in September since last years iPhones were delayed and we could only upgrade in November. So I don’t think we should be charged if we upgrade before November.

I’ll let you know when I find out

Thinking of going back to the Max size for the 13. Have always had big phones until the 12 when I got the regular pro. In so many ways it’s great and I love the size, but I do miss the bigger screen and better battery life so will probably switch. Expect I won’t like going back to the bigger lump in my pocket though!

That’s right. IUP had been in store only in the UK (odd now given how it’s the same loan through Barclays).

It all works out the same given it’s 0% interest for both. With IUP you pay a deposit and a larger monthly amount (but loan complete in 20 payments).

If you’re upgrading yearly then the 24 month 0% would mean lower monthly payments. By the time the next upgrade came along you’d have paid off less and thus will have a higher outstanding balance. One to bear in mind if you’re use to selling the phone and using the balance to pay off. With the 24 month you might have to top up that payment of remaining balance with a bit more of your own money.

But as you’d have been paying less a month you clearly would have saved it . As I said both options work out the same financially.

For me it’s a matter of convenience now. Last year was the first year we could ‘pre-auth’ the finance a few days before which made completing the order a doddle. If they made IUP work in the same way then I’d go down that route but will stick with the 24 month for now.

I have been collecting instore the last few years (because of IUP) so might go back to home delivery again and join in with the courier tracking fun!

Did like the option of a pick up first thing though

Remember last year when Amazon UK had pre-orders available for the 12 Pro/Pro Max with substantial discounts, hundreds of pounds off and people were wondering whether Amazon would cancel their orders (they ended up honouring the discounted prices). Anyone taking that gamble this year if the same happens?
They honoured it!
